  • Stig McQueen says:

Star Wars has already been fairly well integrated into Disney anyway; Star Tours (and the Star Tours gift shop with Disney/Star Wars mashup trinketsa), Star Wars Weekends in June, etc.

Kinda looking forward to a Darth Mater diecast — though much less so to Jar Jar Binks dancing down Main Street USA in the Electrical Parade…

(MET: I think George Lucas was the only person still a fan of Jar Jar so now that’s he’s sidelined, I think we’ll see Jar Jar only “in the vault” parade … maybe now we’ll not only get a remastered original Star Wars but maybe we’ll get a remastered version of Ep 1 where he’s cut down to 3 lines as one guy did – and the plot suffers zero …).

  • Frank says:

I think as long as they remain true to the franchise like they did with Marvel instead of trying to ‘appeal to younger audience’ by adding Jar Jar, it should be good. Just don’t do, “Stitch meets the Ewoks.”

  • 5oclockshadow says:

Rumor is the first movie will focus on Jar Jar Binks and the Ewoks.

  • FireFox91 says:

I seriously can’t think of a better company to take over the Star Wars franchise. This is going to be amazing!

  • D J says:

It is REALLY important they go back to the original style of New hope,Empire, and a new hope to keep what made Star Wars what it is! Really Excited about it, something as big as Star wars was bound to spawn more sequels.
