    I just received my order and it is WRONG. They are the cars from the event 4 and not event 5. Needless to say I am very upset right now and the Kmart store will be getting these back tomorrow. I am so glad that I went to the event itself otherwise we would have missed out. This is the LAST time I will pre-order anything from them again. 🙁

    KMART Day #4 Cars Cases sent out with Kmart Day #5 cases

    Okay got first orders from Kmart Day #5 cases I have received Kmart Day 4 cases.

    The case photos sent to Met, of the Kmart Day #5 case and the Kmart Day #4 Cars Case

    J.G code on the white label shows a different code between the two Events.

    J.G 163/10/PO4 is the Kmart Day #4 Case and its R codes on the top and bottoms of the box are white stickered out.

    J.G. 275/10/PO4 is the CORRECT Kmart Day #5 Event

    I thought the days of getting the wrong things from Kmart online were over.

    But it looks as if Tires can still be confused with heart medicine if these cases cannot be sent out correctly and or Paul Valdez Haulers and Lightyear Launchers we have exchanged emails about in the past.

    pretty sad. I am expecting more cases tomorrow. hopefully they are correct.

        Im upset too! My cases were suppose to arrive today and now it says rescheduled for tomorrow. Lets hope its not the last events cars. I have gone to about 4 kmarts in my area and no one except for one manager went to the back to see if there were any cars from this event. There is absolutely no customer service here.
        I cant believe a company can skrew up so much! Totally disapointing to say the least. I know if I skrewed up like this I would have been fired.
        Kevin, Ill definately sign that petition. We need a retailer who takes this seriuously. Far too many mistakes and then not even getting what you ordered. These cases dont come cheap. We are giving our hard earned money to a company that does not care in my eyes. If we can move these events to Target or TRU maybe we can get what we ordered. Business like this should be given to a company with the full capasity to execute and who actually take their customer service seriously.

          target did the same thing to others last year with the Storytellers… they promoted them and sent out something else.

          Target still hasnt had the pitty and crewchiefs online after nearly a year

          ToysRus has Lizzie Supercharged 5 packs up recently and then sent out other stuff.

          In defense of Kmart, they actually do “talk to us” and want to get us this stuff.

          But with target and their “Collectors Policy” which stinks…. they dont give a darn.

          My policy is “If its in the store its for sale”

    Well I knew it was too good to be true, I just got off the phone with Kmart customer service. The emails I got on the 28th showing the packages have been shipped included UPS tracking numbers. Tracking shows that the packages haven’t been picked up by UPS for shipment to me. The rep told me that there has been a delay in getting my items from the Kmart warehouse to the nearest UPS hub for shipment and they can’t tell me when they will go out. How in God’s name can they not find a flunky to bring 2 boxes to UPS. They couldn’t even tell me where the warehouse is located so I could estimate how much longer I will have to wait.

    Got our case today too!

    Question: how many covered wheels is the chase McQueen supposed to have? The one in our case has 3: 2 front and the right rear.

      Yes that is correct, two are covered in the front and one on the back I think its the passanger side that is covered.

        mine are whitewalls but all white tires

          I have been able to see several chases with the whitewall tire to be the driver side. If it was found on the passenger side I believe that would be a cool error (to me atleast)

        Thanks for the feedback! Is that canon with the movie? I can’t remember if he only had 3/4 wheels covered in that scene.

        (MET: Well, logically it should be all the wheels covered but we can only see three of the wheels so they decided to go with the exact replication of what we saw in that scene … so canon in the strictest sense).

    I received my Kmart presale order today, packed very securely, and assortments 100% correct!!! Woohoo!!!! I received the order confirmation Wednesday, Shipping notice Thursday, and my order is in hand today!

    Thanks again to Nascarfan and BMW for the behind-the-scenes help, and here’s to hoping Kmart has figured this out for KD6!

    Oh and Kmart DID honor the pricing issue that happened with the Columbus Day sale issue… I was initially concerned as my canceled higher priced order was still on the open order page along with the Monday lower price order…

    But… as of yesterday, the lower priced order has shipped and the higher one is history!

      You can fred, but I think they credit you the Shipping Charge first, then charge it back as a matter of course to get it entered into a shipping label process…(another software thing)…as Uncle Skip explained.

    No luck here. Got the cancelation email, and Nascarfan was working on it, but it’s not looking good. May need to reach out to the fellow T5er’s to get a set, as I am really not too happy about this whole thing. . .

        First and foremost, I want to say Thank You! for all that you have moreover the years to not only help me, but all the rest of the T5ers. You go above and beyond most everyone here.

        The failure is coming from Kmart now. I cannot believe in this techno-savvy world we live in that there is not someone at Kmart that can make this right. A hard drive crash would make the data non existent, but I am still able to view my order on Kmart.com, And a software glitch that arbitrarily cancels random orders, seems plausible, but again, someone should have the authority to “fix it”. I have several years of retail experience, and keeping the customer happy is rule number one. Right now, I am not a happy customer, and Kmart needs to recognize I am not the only one unhappy and do something to make it right. Offering another chance to order them online is again another attempt, but do I really want to stress over this again? My boys and I love this line, but I don’t know for how much longer.

        That’s my 2 cents worth.

          At the risk of shooting myself in the foot, (right handed gun) that was my assumption that this had to be a “bug” or HD failure.

          We, BMW and myself have been told that this was not supposed to be a problem (since they were sure the major bugs from Kmart Day #4 were looked at and some of the same issues are not the issues here, IE Billmelater accounts – cancelations. We, Bmw and myself have NO hard answers from Kmart and I am sure Met and Tiz dont either.

          But I will tell you this BMW and I have burned up the cell phone batteries trying to figure out why and what would cause it.

          Short of UFO’s and “little green men” and (bugs bunny’s Gremlins) we dont have any hard answers, just guesses.

          Now conspiracy theories aside, “they didnt have them etc etc etc, which dont fit the facts….agreements between “Funds holding policies” between billmelater and Sears/Kmart.

          But knowing cards and accounts are charged, I dont think thats the case..I think its a software issue or issues.

          Carsaholic, do let me know if you are on my list to get the reorder link out to first.

          thats my cards on the table… no aces here to pull out.

          I wish it was as simple as telling you and the other guys..”hey so n so your 637th on my order list of 1000 cases I got, just one man here…” but sadly its not.

    I got an email confirmation and another email stating that the case shipped but correct me if Im wrong but wasnt there FREE shipping with toy items over $50.00 because I got charged for shipping?

    Another KMart question. I went to KMart today to buy a 3 pack McQueen w/rubber tires. There was a small sign by the display that said $8.99 but when I got to the register it rang up as $11.99. When I went back to the department and told an employee, he took the sign off and crumpled it up before I could read the small print to see if there were any dates on it. Question…is the $8.99 sale over?

    (MET: That is illegal here in CA – the store has to sell you the price on the sign. I was just in a store where the item said 30% but the sale had ‘ended,’ but they readjusted the price … so regardless – I think most laws have that to prevent stores from being lazy – because really, that’s a bait and switch … even Target was fined a few years back for prices that did not match the scanner price so that’s why they are pretty accepting of a price if you tell them the item is marked differently … of course, I’m not trying to convince them the 32″ plasma Tv is really $6.99).

      I think the Kmart in-store system excludes the UPC from the rubber tire 3 pack from the sale… the other ones all scanned at the $8.99 sale price… it was the same at both Kmart stores I went to.

      And yes, I received shipping notification for both of my orders. I don’t expect to see them before next week.

      I heard that the $8.99 only applied to the 3 packs other than the rubber tire ones. The rubber tire 3 packs were still $11.99. At least that is what several others have said. 🙁

        I believe there is still time to use that $5 off “birthday bucks” coupon. It is listed in several previous KMart Day 5 posts. That brings the rubber tire 3-pack down to $6.99. 7 bucks is not bad for rubber tire McQueen and two super fine, special semi-gloss-finish racers!

      Met you’re not going to believe this…
      Went to Walmart today. There on the pegs were two Chuy’s. The sign “on the same” peg said $3.97. Well I know that couldn’t be right so I went to the price check machine. Sure enough it came up $7.97. BTW, there were no pegs with the $7.97 price anywhere in that section. I went looking for a manager and found the assistant manager. Brought him to the sign and asked him what he plans on doing about that. He said, “you can have them for $3.97.

      (MET: See, that’s the way it’s supposed to work 🙂 Next time just invoke the ‘bait and switch’ law when they try and slip one past you … plus, sure you’d pay $7.97 for a Octane Semi but Chuy – That’s not even a full name 🙂 ).

    Well that is a big relief to finally get a confirmation.. I was getting a little worried after some of the cancellations I read about. I put myself on the hook for 23 cases going overseas.. looks like everyone will get theirs. 😎

    I’m still waiting for my KMart 4 order…HAHA…it is still listed in my order history as not shipped…hilarious..
    I cancelled my KMart 5 order…got everything I needed at the event…I wonder if it will still ship…

    All of my overseas orders are now shipped to Utah.

    Everyone else should be getting shipped emails too
