Looks like Walmart has a “new” exclusive – not really new as its all re-releases but nice for newbies – all “classic” eyes.

Nice price – $14.00 – presumably we’ll see some on the shelf soon also.
There is free shipping to stores but be warned – sometimes they place GIANT STICKERS on SHIP TO STORE items, not so noticeable on an inflatable Pokemon but not so great for collectibles so if you want them, better to have them shipped directly to you.

Does any one know if you can get the 4 pack that has sally anymore? That’s the only one I need for my collection and I cant find it..

These are no longer available at retail, but I do see a couple of them on eBay.

Too bad they didn’t have a Piston Cup 4-pack.
I think this is a win/win situation for Walmart and consumers. It provides Walmart with fewer yet more expensive SKUs. At the same time, it provides consumers with a larger range of products. (Plus they are non-lenticular.) I think Walmart would see fewer peg warmers in the future with this format. Go Walmart!

Met, it’s been 1,161 days since Sarge was available as a classic-eyed single. Do you think we’ll EVER see this released again?

Boost in the 4 pack is a variant. Its not the same one as in the pictures above. The 4 pack pictures of the Walmart exclusive Boost on ebay show a Boost with the mauve rims like the lenticular versions released last year and this year.
Original 2006 Thailand Boost had the red rims around the wheels. This new Boost has the mauve colored rims and fixed eyes, so its definitely different.
Am I late to the party, or are the Pit Crew listings on Target.com for N2O Cola, NitroAde, Easy Idle etc new?

I think I first noticed the new team crew sets on Target.com on March 27, 2010… They’re still out of stock… Sigh…
I wonder if the DJ will have the corrected colours or the one pictured. also wingo had orange patterns on the side of his spoiler, seems like a good opertunity for mattel to corect all this
(MET: My guess is this the DJ is the stock photo Mattel supplied to WM – we’ll know for sure when someone gets it 🙂 ).
The DJ in this set has the green corrected Tampos per the pics on ebay.
Wingo is the same as before.
If you would look at the back of the Desert backs, you would see that this was what the Cars looked like, although DJ’s eyes are too far apart, Sarge looks like the ole’ Lead Paint self, and Wingo’s eyes are too far apart also. They never looked like this except Sarge, so dont pay much attention to the Cars in the picture, and look at the ones in the box.
Even though I have all of these in multiple formats, I see myself buying these because I, as Fillmore said, “Respect the classics”…
I wonder if they’ve taken care of the glue problem that was evident on many of the older style 3 packs…
Now if they’ll just release the racer/pitty/crew chiefs in this style… since the Team Crew set 4 packs no longer appear to be Target exclusive… Time to start checking Walmart stores again…
