We had heard the rumors and were waiting for official artwork but I guess Amazon & WM are a little more important than us 🙁 … What’s up with that? 🙂

i had a dream where i was at a store looking at cars and i discovered the newestmater short was him as a cement truck i seen some diecasts from it and mqueen was stuck in the cement! there was an oversized garbage truck w/ opening back door ecept he was a little smaller than leroy traffic ,so i didnt gets him.
No exclusive Mater diecast car in it? 🙁 Sad… Probably will pick it up either way…
Yeah. It should have came with Flying Mater from UFM.

Someone posted this yesterday, i think they found one on EBAY, looks good though, as it my job i can confirm thats the way wheels look when masked.
Question, will they finish making all the racers, pit row launchers, crew chiefs, pittys, and team haulers? I hope so. Please tell me what’s on the list if you know. We may have to do without Apple, and I’d like every team complete.
Hopefully we can get them all.

Of subject sorry, but can anyone tell me if T.J. or richard kensington ever released in the common 1:55 scale???
(MET: TJ was released with the WM CARS in 2007 as a “regular” sized CAR – he was a tad small – in 2009, he was moved to the ‘megasize-deluxe’ line and upsized – he might actually be a tad too big now … Richard Kensington was released a few months ago … but in a case not a lot of retailers ordered so hard to find. ALL are technically in the 1:55 scale lineup – whether you find their scale to be accurate or not is another question but all three releases are part of the 1:55 series … you can read about the whole oversized-megasize & deluxe thing HERE).
TJ yes- as one of the Walmart 8 set. Not sure if it was released on another card as well. Don’t think so
Richard- No, only Mega size. Although he is definitely not too mega.
T.J. in that scale was only released on the Wal-Mart 8 card, nothing else.
Thanks met. That clears things up a little, the reason i ask is if you look at the display case that the president of TRU won in the CAAF auction a couple of years back richard kensington looks smaller in my opinion than the megasized one, might be mistaken but dont think so.

Any news on the UK release dates? My kids love them but shame they wont wait till all Maters Tales are released first though.
If some of us have to buy it from the US just remember it wont work on EU dvd players. Hope we will be able to get it other than in the US though.
I think the UK was the first to announce this DVD.
I ordered the Blu-Ray/DVD combo from WM.com for $19.99. According to the email I got it will ship on 2 November, to arrive sometime between 5 November and 9 November.
I still would like to see these released on US iTunes, maybe after this comes out

I agree. They don’t start or stop at the correct time so you either miss some of it or you have other shows or commercials to fast forward thru

It’s too bad they don’t add Mater and the Ghostlight to the tall tales dvd . I know it’s on the Cars dvd, but but it would to have them all together !!
I thought that would be cool, too! I’d also love to see some of the Boom Comics stories animated – in hand-drawn animation. Very excited for this disc though…
Well I guess it’s official- there will be more Cars from this Cars Toon line than Cars from the original line.
With Mattel making multiple characters from each short, the amount of Cars Toons releases are and will be adding up quick.
I wonder what Cars will be released with this DVD? As for buying it I will definitely be ordering from Amazon. There adjustment of the price to match the lowest retail price is great.
Last year I originally ordered a few DVD Combo packs from Amazon for more than 10.00 over the price they winded up charging me. I love Amazons policy and service. They knew what the lowest price charged was and that’s what they charged. I didn’t even have to update or contact them. Nice.
Yes, as much as I hate to say this, Toons are the new focus. I don’t care for them. There are many more coming , and I think the toons were made just to make more cars, and more money. There has been a lack of new Cars the Movie Cars. I hope they can finish the Megas planned, RV’s, pit rows, and haulers. Will they make them all? And, will they stop making Cars 1 Cars when Cars 2 comes out?
