Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Pit Race Off Launcher Contest! (Flooring Update)

Thanks Pit Stop Toy Shop for contributing TWO brand new hard-to-find (original) Pit Race Off Launchers of Spare (‘O’ I am Irish) Mint & Sputter Stop!


To win, you have to answer the age old question … which Piston Cup racer from its launcher would go the furthest?

Two disclaimers.

a) Only 19 of the Piston Cup racers have been released with Pit Row launchers so, the field is from 19.

Actual launchers that we have are:

b) The track? The Pit Stop Toy Shop Motor Speedway Thunderdome (aka-his house). The nearly anything goes to the death rules?

“Ok, after several test launches and a couple misfires due to broken rubber bands, everything was in order.  I decided we would adopt an “Anything Goes” mentality — meaning that each launcher would be set off one time only and any misfires, spin outs, collisions, wheel alignment problems that curve a car into a wall, etc. —  would count.  Tyler launched each of the 19 Pit Row Launchers one at a time (allowing each previously launched racer to stop moving before launching the next) in order to determine the winner according to furthest distance traveled.  There were no more misfires, but a few spin outs, collisions, and kamikaze wall crashes.  After all 19 Racers had been launched, we pulled out the tape measure to determine the furthest distance traveled”

AND THE WINNER IS …

Well, you’ll find out next week … but if you GUESS the winner and its distance, you will win both the launchers above!

(BTW, this was conducted on Pergo™ hardwood flooring – your mileage and distance might vary – only our race results are final 🙂  ).

So, write CONTEST ENTRY in the comments below.

Then list the WINNER and the distance that Piston Cup racer went in FEET & INCHES. (no metric) WITHOUT going over. If for some reason, all the people who select the winning car correctly but EVERYONE in that group is too high in guessing the distance, then the names will be thrown into an electronic hopper and a random winner will be selected.

Contest starts RIGHT NOW and ends Sunday March 28, 11:59 PM PDT.
