Most of the CARS in the Collector Booklet 2010 featured CARS we saw at SDCC or in one of our visual checklists – MEGASIZE 2010 … CHASE 2010, and MATER TALL TALES.
But there was one surprise …
There is a new CHASE Dinoco Lightning McQueen “Celebrity Signature.”
It took some investigative work but ta-da!

Well, I think this is already in the lead for ‘Weirdest Accessory of 2010.’
But speaking of Dinoco, here’s how many Showgirls you will need to canonically recreate the Dinoco Stand …
It also looks like the Dinoco Helicopter (body) is approximately length-wise 13 Showgirls side by side by side …
And speaking of the Showgirls, that ‘aggro’ McQueen that comes in the 3-pack with the Showgirls? He’s canon & correct – though technically I guess it’s more of a smirk than what I’ve been calling it …
And speaking of canon, do the Showstopper girls count since they are in the ‘deleted’ scenes featurettes of the original DVD?
Yep, CARS is the never ending movie … for every scene, there is a season, a season of diecast retailing … 🙂

Just make the Celebrity Signature plastic slab larger and charge us $4 bucks for it. I’d rather do that than have yet another Dinoco McQueen.

I’m sure I’ll see TONS of this chase. Meanwhile, I’ve never come across any of the new ransburg chases, just hordes of McQueen,Chick & The King Chases.
I always see if they have that cool new DJ but they don’t have him. I hope I can finally find it.
That’s because Target sent all of the DJ Chases to Tacoma. Found two in two days without making a special toy run. Found while actually shopping for household supplies.

I admit that these types of chases (with cup, with side walk, with Ransburg paint, with Rust-Eze can, etc…) are boring, but they are easier to find and lots of people pass on them because it’s the same car.
Wait and see how difficult Damamged Doc will be to find!

Is the one in the upper right a Chrysler? She sure looks like she has parts of the Chrysler Building tacked on her fins! LOL.
Obviously they have made a few too many of that mold. Still would be a very nice addition!
wow, that seems like a stupid idea for a car…and even moreso a chase car!
it would be alright if it came with a piece of sidewalk big enough for LMQ, tia & mia so you can recreate the scene, but looking at the blurry scan it doesnt even look in scale!
and its the same old boring mcqueen face!!!!
when i first heard ‘signiture series’ i thought it was going to be a lightning mcqueen die cast based on a sketch or production art by mr.lasseter, like star wars are doing with the Ralph mcqueerie series.
Unless they change the expression on the final product.
I like this chase. I would love to score it first!!
