Now that the holiday season approaches, it’s time to finally figure out what’s out and what’s coming.
So, this will be CHECKLIST WEEK here at TakeFive … Earlier, we did SINGLES, BOX SETS (part 1), and BOX SETS (Part 2) – aka: The Target Box Sets.
This checklist lists all the Mater Tall Singles & Megasize released and on the store shelves. Yes, there are some new ones about to be released or just hitting the store shelves but not nationwide yet – this checklist will be updated as we get full distribution of the new ones.
These checklists are also ONLY for new items (that item may contain re-releases of individual CARS … imagine that 🙂 ).

What is Mega Size #5 (possible Cannonball mater w/o char?)
Can anyone tell me what number Dr. mater is? Is it #9…if so, what are 7 and 8…man I hate it when they jump around!

With regards to the Orderly Pittys, with the first 2 being numbered #1 & #2, I wonder if there are more coming?
I was thinking the same thing about the Mega Size #5.

A little Acetone and I can probably transform one of my Cannonball Maters into one!

I have put it off too long, might have to try it tonight…..just a Q-tip and a little Acetone may do the trick.
Use that stuff with Caution!!!
I believe the “CLEAN” version is ONLY available in the playset Boxed Set?

is this and the matching mater with rockets overseas only or are they scheduled for usa too.
This is one of our “favorite” Ebay sellers(that’s sarcasm)….bootleg or flawed from the factory is the suspicion, the last one of these had photos of the scratches and paint flaws on the actual car, so beware.
They’re ALWAYS “loose”, no packaging, so most probably didn’t make quality control and were tossed to the side as “flawed”.
Just as with High Dive Mater, which is showing up in stores now, the other characters will show up in the USA as well. Just be patient.
What is this Doc Hudson? Is this 1:24 scale?

so is it the same as the one in the box set?
Are the cardbacks with new or Sizzling Paint job on the circle more common on the singles?
I have seen full sets with the new snipe at different stores and a mix of the new and Sizzling at the same store.
I found 4 Dr. Mater’s this morning — 3 had “Sizzlin’ Paint Job” and 1 had “NEW!”. Most of the others I’ve seen in the wild say “Sizzlin’ Paint Job”.
On the contrary, I’ve never seen Lug & Nutty with “Superstar Paint Job!”, so maybe “NEW!” is all we’re going to see on them?

since you have 2 troopers why not the two Lug n Nuttys variants?
its just the one forklift UP versus being down thats different right?
It’s not the forklift, it’s just that there are 2 Lug’s in the package, one with the torque gun and one without.
All of these also have “NEW!” printed in the yellowish circle on the upper right of the card.
