Now that the holiday season approaches, it’s time to finally figure out what’s out and what’s coming.
So, this will be CHECKLIST WEEK here at TakeFive … Earlier, we did SINGLES … Now, BOX SETS (okay, a launcher is not really a box set but it fits better here) …
This checklist lists box sets & launchers released and on the store shelves. This is Part I of II for box sets. It is not comprehensive … it is split up for ease of printing AND it’s less financially scary 🙂
Is it clear enough that some are exclusives and only available at a certain retailer as it says so writ large on the box? And those without the words of a retailer on the front are available everywhere?
Okay, the Disney Store tuners are NOT 1:55 scale as the Mattel ones are but who’s going to resist them?

I still have to get over to the Disney store to get the Tunerz with lights. They are just too awesome to pass up. I hate to admit it, but I still need the toon 4 packs as well. Much like the haulers it took me a few weeks to warm up to the idea of yet another must have and happy to say they have made the list. Happy collecting and thanks for the great lists Met keep them coming.
Is Shifty Drug the only Launcher….can anyone give me an update on what has been released as a lightyear launcher?

Did you at least pick up “One Stuck Truck” at your Hallmark store?
I picked ours up last week, very nice piece for $15.00 with a nice collector box.

Ah, but Gil(along with all of the other haulers) is ONLY $10.00 this week at Target……at least the stores around us have had Gil for the last week or two.

Gil has arrived in Australia. I picked up 4. 1 yesterday and 3 today (not greedy before anybody asks, 1 for me, 2 for my sons and 1 for my good mate Hostile Takeover Bank).
Good to see that Gil is US$10 that would make it $10.75 in my colonial money. Each Gil over here cost AUD$34.99 and that is retail price which equates to around US$32.50
Still just happy to get Gil. Now if can get the Final Laps over here and the Crews, and Richard CK, and Canonball, and…….

I’m just putting the Tach-O-Mint launcher and Richard Clayton Kensington at the top of my list for now.

I have them all… except for the Shifty Drug and Dirt Track McQueen Lightyear Launchers… and I don’t want them.
What about the Target Team Crew sets? I bought those, and have combined the HTB and Leakless sets with the 3 piece set with hauler/racer/pitty… Going to combine my Dinoco sets tonight…

yah i definitely couldnt resist the tuners and once i saw those i bought all the disney racers too LOL they are big!! 🙂
If you don’t press the button on the bottom of the light up tunerz, how do they light up?
(MET: There are TWO switches, one to turn it on and off and one that lights up if you press it).
