Here is an updated checklist for Mater Tall Tales – Rescue Squad Mater:
*The only question is that a Doc Mater is listed as a single which doesn’t quite make sense as all other Mater’s are listed as megasize so … maybe? Unsure but it looks like the other Mater is coming – may not be listed in the right config but …
And since Mater the Greater is arriving in CASE B of the megasize (with Cannonball Mater), here is the work-in-progress checklist. We know there are some more singles CARS but we’re not quite sure what their actual names will be and those with an asterisk here are also a guess at their names – we know they are on the list and in most cases, we have seen pics of them, we’re just not 100% sure of the names … but for the ones we do know, here’s the list so far …

Where’s normal Mater The Greater from the beginning of the short from when he drives on that row of Cars? He’s not on the list. Is he still planed?
Went to a SWM today and saw a few of the megasized rescue mater stuff. Ran into a lady there as she was going through the pegs – asked if she was a collector and she replied “vendor.”
Never thought I would run into a mattel rep outside of a KM cars event. At any rate…thought I’d ask if she knew when the single smaller stuff would be coming in – she replied that she was unaware of any shipments coming into our area. “You collectors seem to get the info faster from your websites than we do from the HQ” –
How much truth in that??

Hey, I haven’t posted on this site in a while so I don’t know if this was discussed or not, but I found CARS in Kohls the other day. Up until now they ony had Shake N’ Go’s and that sort of thing, but never the main line.. but yesterday I found…get this.. Mood Springs, Fiber Fuel, and Easy Idle launchers, and the Shiny Wax 3-Pack. They also had Mega-Sized, Haulers, and Lenticulars… This was in Warminster, PA..

(MET: Yea, they carried CARS in 2006 (even had their own exclusive Luigi’s) but tapered off in 2007 and most of 2008 until last Christmas when they started getting more CARS stuff).
yes isnt it cool!! 🙂 they started by getting the lenticulars case a and then i posted the other day that i went in there and was like HOLY COW lol launchers , 3 packs, lenticulars , more minis and even some haulers.. the only bad part about kohls though is they dont rotate stock hardly ever until something runs out it seems because that first case of lenticulars didnt get replenished until i had went this last time because we had been checking periodically between then and this weekend and there was nothing.. sooo pretty sweet! only thing that stinks is if walmart cant get rid of mcqueen .. kohls is going to have a harder time than that lol

guys, do you consider that rescue squad helicopter single (mega size) as one of the collectibles?
reason being it is 100% same as the one from the boxset.
but again, in the Rescue Squad Mater short clip, there are 2 helis 🙂
I like having the singles myself, and don;t necessarily buy all the box sets, for instance the TRU only only, or the Target Exclusives…I don;t have all of them, but the MTT 4 packs are pretty wonderful, and I am HAPPY to have both the single and the 4 pack!!
I believe Pitties with Torches is actually Pitties with Ratchets (as in the drill they use to change tires).
One of them does have a torch(like a propane torch) when he light’s the rockets on Lightning before they push him down the ramp to make his jump attempt.
The only other thing they would have would be an impact wrench, much like Guido’s.
Ok I missed something-whats the other Burnt mcQueen v2???? I suppose I saw the word McQueen and skimmmed……Is it a different face amount of burn or something?
One is a single, the other is the box set. The mouth is different; I think the one from the box set looks better
The box set Burn’t Mcq has a Sad face. Its really cute.
I noticed something today. The international Megasize Toon are second class citizens! They don’t have a Sizzling Paint Job! 🙁 The Circle with those 3 words in it is not on our cardbacks.
Met, the RS Maters need a bit of revising. 😉
