Will there be any more 4×4 Buddies released in the Mini Adventures line? We’ve only seen the 2-pack featuring Lightning McQueen & Chick Hicks, but no one else so far. I think every other “theme” has had several different packages releases, but not the 4×4 Buddies theme.
(MET: The MINI list doesn’t go very far … I’ll do a post, there is a monster truck Sarge).
Does anyone know where I can find Cars clipart or something similiar?
I am looking for clear images of some of the Cars characters to use as designs for quilt blocks.
I am going to do a pieced quilt of the cars to donate to Cars cares but all I can find is sally, lightning, mcqueen and mater.
I’d love to find some of the race cars and do them on a race track and than do another as just a random pieced quilt of various Cars.
Looking for the race cars to be 4-5″ and the other cars to be 5-9″.

there are all kinds of mini lizzie and there is a mini luigi and guido it is adorable.

Lucky? Checked 2ADay regularly, and Red Line Club daily to find out when the window of purchase opened.
Had to join Hot Wheels Red Line Club, pay for membership, be on line that morning in May, go into work late in order to be on the Red Line site in that 2.5 hour window, (11 am here) and paid our money! 🙂 So it was a bit of work, and time, not luck.
Well at least you have all the race cars. I am still working on it! I hope my time comes soon when I can get them all

Met, I have been toying (pun intended) of displaying an open collection “In order of appearance”…have you ever considred that? And if not, in your spare time, how about coming up with an Alpha and Omega list for me of diecasts in order of appearance???

A while ago, Martin hinted that Mattel was thinking about creating a display case for this collection (and I don’t mean the one that is already available from Carney), and that it might be sold on Matty at some point (I know, I know…). Is that idea completely dead now, or might there still be a chance of that happening (since I don’t like the ones produced by Carney)?

what does “double” ransburg mean…better yet…what does Ransburg mean?
Ransburg is the name of the dude that developed the process of applying the pretty shiny paint (I believe static electricity is involved) to metal objects. I assume that double Ransburg is a double coat. It’s beautiful and delicious. I know Met did a post on this topic, but I can;t seem to find it. I am probably mispelling Ransberg/Ransburg/Ranbergh/Ransburgh.
Are you sure the Ransburg CARS will be released as chase cars in the Final Lap series? Or maybe it will be the Lenticular series? I think this question is still unanswered.
Are you able to confirm:
1. The identity of the UK promo Car – we don’t want to wait until October 1st to find out.
2. There will be a TRU promo, Tach O Mint, starting in the US on October 1, 2009?
Will Mattel get all the cars from CARS 1 made and shipped before they start on the new ones from CARS 2?
This was asked during the last Q&A session, and here is Met’s answer (I totally feel like Met’s personal spokesperson right now… “What’s that? You would like a signed photo of Met? We’re sorry, but Mr. Met doesn’t do photos… we can send you a signed bag of birdseed or toiletpaper, if you’d like”?):
“What’s complete? CARS with names? Every CAR that appears on screen? Every possible expression of every character? My guess is that with about 24 months to go before CARS2 diecasts start appearing, we will probably see another 125 CARS (not counting the shorts and Storytellers) so it will be as complete as any diecast licensed line plus when CARS 2 is out, they will undoubtedly release a “classic-flashback” series…”
When will information on K-Mart Cars Day III be released? It’s next month–shouldn’t we have some information by now? That MUST be where we’re getting the N20 Cola and Mood Springs Pittys, right?

1. Are there any rumors on the US TRU exclusive. It has been a long time since we have had any news about that. I assume that it will not be Tach O Mint since he will be released as a launcher in a couple of months.
2. Is there any chance of seeing Sidewall Shine again? Have you heard anything that you can hint about?
3. Where are Kori’s side view mirrors?
4. We need Chick Hicks with the thunder cloud sticker! I can’t believe they didn’t think of that and put it on the chase car!!!!! (more of a statement)

I got tired of checking after we got skunked in the spring. They better do it soon though…I have been waiting to buy my extra pitties, booger head mcqueen, and Sharpie Mcqueen for this promotion.

As long as the post containing “First” is relevant to the actual article, no ban. If it’s useless – ban, because then it’s just a thinly disguised example of the same useless act of wanting to be first. It’s not that difficult to write a comment that actually has something to do with the article…
I Oneder if I will be the one to be the first to find the first car of the first showing of the first wave of the first new series in a few months?

How about this one…… Does it seem to you that Nurse GTO doesn’t have a lot of heft to it? Seems out of place with so many of the other Cars. If anyone has an answer, it is you man!

I’ve noticed that too. A lot of the cars lately seem a lot lighter than in the past. Rescue Squad Mater seems light, GTO, etc.?
Do the Nurse GTO’s have plastic bases or metal bases??
Was actually lucky enough to find most of this series today (no more of the Pitties) and yeah, GTO feels like plastic
Maybe it’s made of a lighter, more exotic metal, aluminum, titanium…which is why all the pricesa are going up…
