Like the last Pit Race Off launchers, they have hit international first.

Interesting how the front is all in English … maybe since the names were not translated in the film, they are okay? The cardbacks, of course have the EU multiple languages …

The case assortment matches the US case assortment …

Got Shifty Drugs, Vitoline and TankCoat all for $9 each at Walmart. I can’t beleive Tank Coat is goin for almost $30 online. Hello folks, go to Walmart 🙂 … I would really love an Apple car though. I thought I saw him once but that was when my son was just getting into Cars.

    • PirateDad says:

The Apple car has never been released as a single, just in the Speedway of the South, limited edition of 1000, all 36 racers, in one display ccase. Originally sold for $300, now going for $2000 on the Trade Forum and eBay….. SO no worries, you did not miss it!

  • Brown Fury says:

It’s good to see that Mood Springs is the correct body type, unlike the preliminary pictures.

    COME TO PAPA!!

  • LoolarMcQueen says:

New Racers a’comin! C’mon, CTC, don’t fail me now! Anyone else annoyed that they shortpack a new car to recycle an old one? Most targets around here are still getting the cases with No Stall and Trunk Fresh.

    • PirateDad says:

The Chick Hicks from the last Case is TOTALLY clogging the shelves, as NitroAde will with this one..of course, it also means that Easy Idle will be the most valuable one of the case…buy lots!!

      • LoolarMcQueen says:

Yep – I bought a Tow Cap / Gasprin two pack off ebay, and the seller sent me a Tank Coat launcher by mistake… I shrugged and figured maybe I got the better end of the deal.

        • PirateDad says:

Wonder how the dude who expected Tank COat feels…LMBO!!! That is funny!!

          • LoolarMcQueen says:

I was ready to coordinate a swap, but so far the seller is mum. Oh well!

            • PirateDad says:

Did you have Tank Coat before this?

              • LoolarMcQueen says:

I bought a case from CTC, but as you noted, it only has one. We figured now we had one for Logan to play with.

We’re holding off racers till he’s older (he’s 2.5 now), because of their relative rarity, while we let him play with shake n’ go versions and a few diecast that are easily replacable – he plays rough! He has a McQueen, a Mater, a Doc Hudson and a Green Ramone, as well as blimp and Marco jet. But his mommy and daddy have come to love those racers; so we like having doubles so we can have a “clean” set free of the inevitable dings and chips. Of course, the doubles are circumstances permitting; we only have one Vinyl Toupee, for instance.

                • PirateDad says:

Nice…if he is not an “eater”, the minis are good for playing with too! Course the Shake and Go;s are perfect!

                  Enjoy the collecting, brother!

                  • LoolarMcQueen says:

Minis – sheesh, last thing I need is a new line to collect; I’ve got a garage full of Galactic Heroes for his introduction into Star Wars. That was a line that was just a “mini” line that suddenly took on a life of its own!

No, we’re quite happy with our shake n go’s – just got Red from his Noni (grandma), and that’s a real nice one… but when I told him he had a fire truck and a police car now, he was confused – oh yeah, his name is “Sheriff,” sorry.

  • PirateDad says:

First the Philipines, then Germany, could Canada be far behind??

  • applefinatic says:

WOW a movie moments with 3 chick pitties!!!!

  • Mike H says:

Well, at least the fear that Mood Springs would not have the proper vehicle body have been put to rest. The early images showed his design being more like those with N2O and RPM.

I just hope they do release all these as the standard diecasts, before they try and get us to go for the ‘shiny finish and rubber tires’ exclusives. I’m still interested in those, though Mattel really needs to do something to get the word out. CARS to me still feels like some little fandom gathering over the vehicles.

At the rate they’re going, I’m almost wondering about just paying a customizer to make an Apple iCar.

Oh, and I agree above…when are the RoR launchers even going to appear at retail? I’m getting tired of WoC being all that’s left. At this rate, I’m almost considering Children’s Toy Closet to get the launchers.

  • kd says:

Oh, I hope this means I get my case from CTC soon.

  • BMW says:

Whats Left now to be released in some form besides these three? From my Motor Speedway Set I see that:
    Gaskits (not scheduled)
Retread ( the lavender color is very nice. scheduled)
    Lil Torquey Pistons (scheduled)
Tach O Mint (really great detail, gingerbread and icing not scheduled)
Apple (course he is out as a “second” “factory reject” on ebay but not factory scheduled)
Clutch Aid (a beautiful deep color, scheduled)
I know this is not complete, time for a Met update!

  • chuki_mama says:

We have even seen any Case B of the launchers around this area… 🙁

  • Roswell says:

yay, another 3 sets i wont be seeing anytime sooon!
