Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Race ‘N Rescue Mini Playset Review

Niki P. was kind enough to write a review for us …

When I opened the package the playset was being held in place by those plastic tabs that they now are using with the haulers and Shake and Go toys.  The inside back of the box has a back drop looking down the main road in Radiator Springs which we have seen before.

Now I’m not sure if I was tired or what but I had a hard time opening up the fire house itself to set up the play track, I’m sure however kids could do it easily.  This toy provides a lot of playability as my girlfriend was amused for at least an hour.  (She’s 23 and I find it funny as she used to hate CARS and thought my obsession was stupid…now she’s more excited about CARS than I am sometimes).

Anyways there are alot of different settings and things that you can do with the playset like “putting out the fire”.  You can also move the launcher piece to different sections of the playset.  I also sent a picture along of Red with a trampoline and ladder…these are included in the playset and make it that much more exciting.  The other minis also work with the launcher piece except for Mater…his mirrors stick out too far.

All in all I would say that it is a fun toy and worth the money.  It has alot more activities than the other playsets of Radiator Springs and it looks great displayed with them…maybe a little small but It’s still the firehouse, right?

Thanks for the review and pics Niki … Looks like fun! Funny pic of RED sitting on top of the loop 🙂

And from Mike E, he sent along a pic of the box – you can’t miss it, it’s HUGE for a Mini …
