Is there any way we could start linking trader Feedback to everyone’s profile page?

If a trader wanted to check out that shady dude PirateDad, all you would have to to is go to his profile and see his feedback.

(JK, PirateDad is the best Canadian I know . . . after Bullwinkle!! 🙂

It would be quicker than searching the long list of feedbacks we are starting to build and easier for people to see if they are dealing with a good Pirate or a bad Pirate.

BTW, PirateDad is great pirate . . . 🙂

(MET: Unfortunately, there’s no real easy to link post ABOUT someone (as in this case) versus ones they write themselves so for now, it’ll have to do … the good news is that other than one guy, we seem to have people who are solid about trading/selling etc … so while feedback is nice, so far so good).

Not trying to be negative (as I usually post very positive feedback for all), but I did complete a trade with Scott and thought it was worth noting that it did take longer than expected to receive and came in a bubble envelope with the cars in relatively poor condition. Communication with him was so-so. Sorry Scott, but I would tell people to trade at their own risk.

We established a trade on December 17th and our items were to be shipped out on December 19th. The items I sent him went with delivery confirmation which I can see were delivered to him on the 22nd. He was supposed to send SARGE to me and I have never received him 🙁

I have sent repeated emails throughout the last 2 1/2 weeks requesting updates/information and Met has also attempted to contact him as well -all to no avail. I have sent him one last opportunity to contact me and send the goods otherwise I will be filing a complaint with the online internet fraud department, as well as his state’s attorney general, city PD and verizon.net.

I still hold out hope that he will do the right thing and be in touch with me regarding some extenuating circumstances. I probably shouldn’t hold my breath…

Too bad – very disappointing. No Sarge 🙁

This guy not only gave me a swag of cars, he gave them to at cost price, in other words, he made no money on the transaction. He even insisted on trying to get me change for me paying him to much. I just emailed you. Per my previous email regarding the trade I said that I was in the process of Moving and things were hectic but we would still make the trade happen. Well, I moved..which means no internet.. I got an email from you 3 days ago saying you mailed off the cars after a week of going back and forth. Now you call me out on here? I just emailed you explaining how I moved, just got your emails, and was so sorry, and would Priority ship the Tank Coat Launcher New in box for the 3 commonly found “greta, DJ, and Hank Haloween”.

However, I have really enjoyed this site, go on everyday to check and see if anything new is out for my kids. Never ripped anyone off, am a 32 year old banker, not into stealing $3 cars.. So, next time read your emails, maybe think about the last one sent from the person.

Also, I will see what you paid for shipping, double it to cover your packaging, and kindly return your 3 cars. I was doing the trade as a favor to a parent.. Trust me the Tank Coat Launcher is worth a lot more…

You guys are all a credit to this community and I have absolutely no reservations in dealing with any of you again.

Initiated a trade with Dawn Wolfe of Lancaster PA (dwolfe09@gmail.com) on the second of November and still have not received anything. There was no communication from that end until another trade was proposed a good 8 weeks later. Last email recieved on the tenth of January. Does not communicate well, if at all. I have made repeated attempts to re-establish communication with no replies returning. If I remember correctly she attempts trades under the names “scott” and “james”. Unless there’s a black hole in the postal system between here and Pennsylvania I would discourage trasnactions with this “member”.

Same here did a trade with the same person, exactly what you said bad communication I have not received my car did trade back 10/27/08 emailed me 1/09/09 saying that was going to send 2 cars but have not received anything yet. I dont remember Take5 ID im pretty sure MET can look it up.

Maybe trades on this Forum should be made with mutual PayPal payments. What I mean is, when a trade is agreed to, come up with a value, and each person pays the other that amount of money. That way, we can shake the bad apples off the tree.

I am actually pretty amazed at the amount of people involved in trading and deals on this site, and if you look over the feedback there are only a few people who have been disappointed. I think its pretty cool.

Horrible trade with Tanya (Email tgould1@carolina.rr.com). I traded her a Brand New (Sealed) ROR Megasize Marco for a Edwin Kranks and Sputter Stop. She never told me that Sputter Stop was opened and she taped it back to the package. Would not trade with her again and would not recommend a trade with her!

I just want to let everyone know that PirateDad is ‘da man when it comes to trades! When I got home from work, I hit the garage door opener, and could see my son fly past the front window headed down to the garage. When I backed down the driveway, I could see the open door inside the garage, and when I got out of the car, my son came flying out onto the driveway, running in circles and holding the package tight. He has not been this excited about new Cars since Christmas. Tank Coat and Shifty Drug now reside proudly with the rest of the Launchers and Piston Cup Racers. Thank you PirateDad!!

I wanted to share that Tom OConnor is really to cool. He sent my daughter a tank coat she has been dying for since the movie came out. Something about pink cars and 4 year old girls. He went above and beyond saying he would look for anouther as the one I had inquired about was already spoken for and sent it before we worked out payment.

I haven’t left feedback in a long time so it’s due, some of these date back a while. I have had a bunch of amazing trades and sales here on Take5 and just want to thank everyone greatly, it really is appreciated. Every transaction has gone smoothly, and I have not run into anyone who communicated poorly or was slow to ship or pay.
