When is Carlo supposed to come out? I haven't seen him any where in the Chicago area.
Also, what about the 2 packs with Security Guard Finn?

Carlo Maserati has been released as a single and I believe he is in the same case with Lewis Hamilton. I have seen him in Kohl's, TRU, Target, and Walmart. The Security Guard Finn 2 pack; I have yet to see in a retail store.

I too have seen Carlo at Kohl's and Walmart. The only place I saw Security Finn was Gordmans, and that was quite awhile go. Never seen him since. I notice that Sal Machiani is in the newest 2 pack case (with Leland and Mama Topolino) so perhaps we'll see Finn in another case. No sightings of the Leland/Mama case that I know of, just eBay.

Chicago? Hi neighbor! Cool to hear from you on here. The Carlo/Lewis Hamilton singles case was definitely at Kohls in the city and in the north suburbs, I think it was last month. I haven't noticed him at our Walmarts/TArgets/TRUs, but then again I haven't been out much either. The Mel Dorado singles case has been at a few Walmarts. The Sal 2-pack case has been in Florida, but I haven't heard about it hitting Illinois yet.
What region of Chicago are you in? We have T5 members in the far west suburbs, north suburbs, far south side, and retired collectors in the city. Happy hunting!

This is not correct.
Security Guard Finn and Sal Machiani are in Case E.
Leland Turbo and Mama Topolino are in Case H

Btw BMW, I notice you always state the case contents "confirmed" on a particular date. Just curious to know exactly who it is that is doing the confirming?

Is it possible that Sal premiered in an earlier case? Our Wal-Mart's' pegs are heavy with Sals but no sign of Security Guard Finn yet. (unless they aren't making it out of the back room)

When you say premiered in an earlier case, do you mean earlier than E? These came out in E.
E has 4 Sal 2 pack and 3 Security Finn. It was out in Sept, that is when I traded for them. Still have never seen case E here.
F - that is the case I see now on the shelves.
F and G are repeats ( these cases have 7 Zen Master Pitty sets between them)\
H is the newest one with 3 Leland Turbo 2 pack and 2 Mama/Uncle Topo 2 packs, but it also has 2 Sals, and no Security Finn and more Zen Master Pittys.
@ Jake -When I post case contents if it hasn't been found at retail I state contents unconfirmed. Then change to contents confirmed and the date when contents been actually confirmed as found at retail. I confirm the case contents in many instances. . But also many other folks post the case info when they find and open. I use the dates for historical purposes to keep track. The actual release date is different then the confirmed date. There are cases I still have unconfirmed contents from Cars 1, but not too many.
Been doing this for almost 5 years now.

That's cool, I was just wondering. So, what about guys like me who often get cases before they arrive in stores, do you not consider those confirm-able cases because they are not found at retail?

I'm in the Joliet area. Picking them up for my 4 yr old who keeps checking them off his Kmart poster. LOL. I'll have to check Kohl's but I haven't seen them anywhere. Thanks for the heads up though.

Iv'e seen carlo once on black friday. and prof.z lights/sounds, a couple weeks ago. (huge) but the store i was at it was $13. no thanks, i can wait.

Wow, 4 is a great age for Cars. Then again, so is 37 – heh heh. Has he been to the Route 66 visitor's center yet, or the Chicagoland Speedway? Have fun Cars hunting and crossing them off that poster! ~ Mike
