There seems to be only 4 releases 2021 for the Radiator Springs 24 Hour Race Series diecasts … They call them ‘color shift paint’ and they are nice – metallic pearl. Flip Dover, Michael Rotor, Eric Braker & Sheldon Shifter. What the cards looked like.

2021 Deluxe was a solid year of releases, including the long, long time delayed Mater with Cone Teeth … also arrived delayed, Corporal Josh Coolant (though only delayed since CARS 2) … Rotor Turbosky is a slight variant but nothing very significant.

Okuni & Shigeko, the geisha girls from CARS 2 has been upgraded. They have always had the eyelid line but now Okuni & Shigeko are unibody, they had segmented face in their original release. Otherwise, not too different, the attached pieces are positioned slightly different but very slight.   The original segmented look.

For those not collecting updated eyelid lines, there were only 13 re-releases singles from previous years that you did not need to add … On the 1st pass, there seem to 46 returning releases now updated with the eyelid line … yes, it’s time to start the recap of 2021.
