Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: Next Team Pit Crew & Chiefs 2010
The first three sets were very nice …
… though with all the variants, it was hard to keep track of just how many variants there are … and of course, strangest of all, no Team Rust-eze yet and not on the list of the new ones coming list.
So, no MY NAME IS NOT CHUCK plus the other red Rust-eze Pitty’s (before they quit).
So, coming next are …
Of course, with Octain Gain, we have two Pitty’s releases already (single and Team Hauler different) and depending on the timing with the other Team Hauler sets coming from yesterday’s post, they may or may not be synchronized but the others all will contain chiefs not yet released and at least 2-3 Pitty’s never released before.
And of course, the third Crew Chief body styling …

And of course, no idea when they will be out but there is the Target post holiday reset starting-going on now … so … maybe one will appear soon?

Very cool! Sort of a related/unrelated question…are there going to be anymore of the oversized semis coming or are they done?

Race Cars with just a Crew Chief and one Pitty out: No Stall, RPM, Shiny Wax and Spare O Mint.
Race Cars with just one Pitty: Lightning, Tank Coat, Trunk Fresh and Vitoline.
Race Cars with planed Pitties: Rev-N-Go and Mood Springs.
All those Cars need team sets, which will be 10 more teams and that will leave 18 more teams left to be planed for the Race Cars with no teams out yet.
They should do a Mood Springs one so that Mood Springs Pitty can finally come out!
finally there’s a new crew chief design!
But looking at the list of 5 new crew packs, I’ll just skip the 3 pitties for good considering the additional costs. Just hope that Mattel wont make the crew chief exclusive in this pack

Cannot wait to pick these up. These sets are very nicely packaged and look great in my display cases.
I want all of these… to combine with the Team set with hauler/racer/pitty… to create more of the super sets to go with the Dinoco/HTB/Leakless that I already have…
Or Mattel could offer us sets for $40 with the hauler, racer, 3 or 4 pittys, crew chief, tires, tool box(es), already in the box, and I wouldn’t have to make my own.

I can’t believe it’s been nearly 4 years since the movie was released, and these are all just coming out! Better late than never I guess…
Well, if you think about it, Mattel is just making money on us. For how many split seconds do we see these cars in the movie really? And I do mean split seconds. Nobody cares about them but us, collectors. I don’t even remember seeing all these pittys and crew chiefs, and I saw the movie many, many times.
Consider donating to the Red Cross or other relief organizations for those affected by the recent Earthquakes in CA and Haiti.
Sweet…no reason to buy team hauler sets !…except for the unreleased haulers of course…bummer!

N20 Cola and Easy Idle are two of my absolute favorite Piston Cup Racers, so I love that we’re getting both Pit Crew Teams and Hauler Sets for them!
Wouldn’t it be great if Mattel decided to split the remaining Team Haulers with half going to mass retail and half as Target exclusives? In that way, I think we really might get Haulers for every Piston Cup Racer, don’t you? =-D
WOW! i cant wait for these! they are sooo sweet! and its better than buying both the team sets and these… but im sure eventually if they do keep cranking them out ill buy the team sets again too!!
yep me too. For now I love the crew chiefs sets. I have a couple so far and can’t wait for the new ones.
