The Mater Tall Tales singles are on sale this week and believe it or not, many or most Toys R Us stores have even been re-stocked!
Also remember in theory, Walmart will price match if you bring in an ad so remember to tuck the TRU ad in your back pocket. I’m guessing printing the one above will get you nowhere as our logo will just confuse them. So look for the original Sunday newspaper one or TRU might have them in store. Good luck!

I remembered reading somewhere that Mater the Greater in the Super Stunt Show playset is a plastic one, can anyone confirm? Thx
(MET: Yes, all the “action” playset vehicles tends to be all plastic – I believe the last one that was metal is the Step on Track with LM).

well for the first time i can actually say i have everything on this list but the mater with mask.
lucked out the first trip and got all including canon ball mater and an error trooper with no eyes, that i traded for a normal trooper and a dustin, so i guess you can say i made out on this one.. FINALLY!!!!
for the record at least where i am they do honor ANY advertised ad. the cashier can easily do the adjustment and they didnt even look to see the date i could have been holding an ad from 5 years ago lol

Got my Gto and both pitty packs this morning, at tru with no site of kori on the pegs.
Went to Two TRU locations and they did not have any of them. I would think they would have them stocked if teh marketing department notified the shipping department. My local TRU said they got in one box last Thursday.

What is a mini speedtrap playset?
It is with Mack and mini Spin-Out McQueen. Very cute! But they have it priced at like $35 or something crazy… when basically all I want is Spin-Out McQueen. The price has been lowered at Target here.. but I still didn’t want to pay what they were asking (which I can’t remember)

Would’nt the doc mater be an oversize?
i was thinking that, but i think the mater the greater is oversized cus he has a big helmet on and that would make him too big for a single packaging.
but seems as dr.mater is the same size as regular mater, it would be both pointless and annoying if he was in an oversized pacaging
(extra cost ect)

i need to rant a lil bit!
just been round town cars hunting…which is bloody dificult when the only places in your town that sells them are supermarkets!
Tesco and Asda had loads of ROR McQueens…nothing else
and Sainsbusys had 7 WOC lightning Ramones 🙁
but i went into Boots (its like a pharmacy shop with some other stuff)
and they had some cars thing in the gift section, including the new wheel launchers! they had McQueen, Chick, Torque Pistons, Bumper Save and Rev n Go!
so i need the last three!!! but they are charging £10 each for them…
…and i am no mug, if mattel are producing and selling boring old same car after same car again and again and clogging the shelves with pegwarmers so the retailers dont order anymore in, it just seems that mettel are trying to fail, how about a little tip mettel; release a case of all new cars and see how well they sell!
the other annoying thing is cars get released over and over and sell for £3.90 apx as singles, and then mattel takes a character that has only had one quite exclusive release before and rereleases it with a cheapy launcher and charges x3 the price, its practicly daylight robbery,
and i dont feel i could realy bring myself to spend £30 on 3 die cast cars when i should only be spending £12,
so, to be honest i dont see why i should bother continuing collecting, mattel, if your reading this, *slaps* NO! BAD MATTEL!!! NO!!!

The LY Launchers are on 3 for 2 at Boots.
But they are so crap compared to the pit race off ones!
But good deal if you need the cars.
Also, why not try Argos – I managed to get Lil Torquey and Clutch Aidf for my son and they are only £7.49 there at the moment – you do have to go through the whole can I view it, no he has that one routine etc but been worth it to get those two so far.
Still on the lookout for Bumper Save and Rev N Go so may need to check out Boots, especially in 3 for 2!!
Us UK collectors/parents need to look out for each other with the state of Cars on the high street (or not as is the case!!) over here.
indeed, i tried argos in my partners town and in my town but they both only have 2 or 3 in stock and are always McQueen and Chick!
will have to go back everyday til they get new stock in,
also…i did no see anything about 3 for 2 in boots, will try back tomorrow.
Ask in argos to see what is in the back. They will bring out the case if you are adamant but beware you may end up with LMQ and Chick anyway as happened to …er someone I know lol

Area Shopping Report and/or Cars Collecting Clubs by State, Region or Country
WalMart will price match these, I did it yesterday with both the CT singles and the Super Stunt Show. TRU will only price match their own ad for purchases made within 14 days, but WalMart will go back further if you are firm about it. The woman at WM told me they typically only price match the past 7 days but if you were to return them and repurchase, they would match the add anyway so she just did it for me. So theoretically, you actually have a full 90-day price match from WalMart.
And KMart will not price match anymore, not since the bankruptcy thing a few years back.
Target just started to price match. Nearly fell over when I saw the signs up at customer service!
Even though TRU says they only price match (their own stuff) for 14 days, if you return the items and re-purchase them you get the sale price. I did that last week with some of the Toy Story items I purchased about a month ago. I got back $25. in savings.
Could someone please remind me where Mia/Tia Dalmation with pearl paint are located? What packaging is the “other” listed above?

Thanks, that’s what I thought but I was a little confused by the graph. SDCC Mater with the working ladder is listed in a “box set” and the pearl Dalmations in “other”. I think Met talked about this in a post a while back, but I just couldn’t recall.

WALMART will NOT honor buy 2 and save, buy one get one, % off sales. They also state must be local competitor.
Its crazy.
If you get a decent manager he will see the ad and just make each one 3.50 and 3.49, but most will see it 2/6.99 and consider it a buy one get one free sale.
Our walmart only has the megas right now and NO toys r us within 2 1/2 hours so they wouldn’t take the ad anyways.
TRU had case B for sure here. The shelf did not have any Koris, but had 3 N. GTOs, & 4 Lug and Nuttys.
I had gotten case A singles at 4.99 ea so took my receipt, and got the price adjustment to the sale price. Saved ~10.00, and picked up two Lug/Nutty packs.
QC, was a little dodgy as the white stars on several of the tire hubs had black spots on them.
I would love to see case C!! Bring on the DOC!!
