Wow, I actually just realized that it’s been over a month since this was posted. Where’s my daily dose of the CARS world?
Is this car die-cast metal? It looks like a big rubber eraser.
Yeah brother her shell is metal. The crappy paint kind of gives it away. Grill,shade,bumper,wheels and windows are plastic.
I also agree that she would be way cooler if she glowed.
Is this where it ends?

I’ve been wondering the same thing, hoping Met has just been enjoying a break over the holidays.
Well, it isn’t like there has been a lot to report on in the world of Cars lately.
In fact I was referring more about us the users, more than Met. 🙂
Let’s talk a little about what happened in 2023… It was my first ever “very frustrating” chasing year since I collect (2006) due to the Walmart half cases and the poor Mattel distribution is US especially the Target stores near me who got almost nothing the entire year. So I could not complete what was release in 2023… and by FAR! I am still missing quite a few and of course most of them are very expensive… mainly because the shipping cost from Europe or Australia.
There was a lot of very nice, interesting and exciting releases but also a lot of peg warmers… The re-releases are too much the same in the last 3-4 years. Hopefully 2024 will be better on this. I believe we will have again a good lot of new releases but I wish the main line would get a new card… disappointing we are still on the same layout for a 3rd year!
I have not seen any 2024 cars in stores yet. Any luck on your side?
My top 3 cars of the year were Chieftess, Kringle and Westfalanapus.
There’s ongoing Cars activity; Clutch Kringle, Easter Flo, several 2023s and a half dozen or so 2024s.
There is 2 new Glow racers too… Fillmore and Chase Racelott.

I would like to get 2 of Mallory and custom paint one to have Mallory before she died and got lost on the way to cars heaven. I think the sculpt will look good in living colors. Even a third Mallory in Thunder Hollow Racing livery too.
