The second episode of CARS on the Road is sort of sparse on new CARS but there might be a few diecasts coming …

The twins seem to based on the Japanese mini CARS from CARS 2.
We’ll probably get a ‘Hot Rod’ Mater …
The clerks are Dash Boardman and Guido … so we’ll probably get this first. 🙂
I doubt we’ll get a green tinted ghost CARS but we could see them as normal colors …
All diecasts have come out before – it would be fun to see a line of glow in the dark “bioluminescence” CARS but I’m not holding my breath.

I wish they will released at least few characters from each episodes aside McQueen and Mater obviously. So far, they officially released minimum one from; Salt Fever (5), The Legend (1), Show-Time (3) and Gettin’ Hitched (1). I know there is one more from Salt Fever (Revo Kos) and one more from Show-Time (Greebles) coming soon.
Yes, I know they released some Dino Park and Road Rumblers characters in mini racers, color changers or plastic playset universe but for me… these do not count! 😀
Lights Out was one of my favorite episodes, so I’m looking forward to seeing what diecasts are released from it. Honestly, I’m just happy if we get Randy, “Hot Rod Mater”, and the Twins. I’d love me some ghost cars too, Met, but like you, I’m not holding my breath.
I do not believe the front desk clerk is Boardman. Look more like Mini Van.
Yes, you are absolutely correct.
The “Hot Rod Mater” is named Wraith Rod in the credits. I would not be surprised if we got some glow-in-the-dark ghost cars.
