See the THE LAST SUPPER in Original Detail …

Now, this is a COPY of The Last Supper … “The painting was likely done shortly after—if not at the same time—as Leonardo’s masterpiece, which lives at the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan … whereas Leonardo’s artwork was painted in tempura and oil on a wall—an experimental technique at the time—the facsimile was done in good ol’ fashioned oil paint on canvas. As a result, the latter has aged much better, lending historians key insights into the long-faded masterwork in Milan.

And now you, too, can explore The Last Supper as if you were just inches away.”

    tempura = japanese fried food
    tempera = paint

    (MET: That’s not me, I just did a direct copy … I did think that was odd …).

    Just in case you didn’t notice Met, the title says; THE AST SUPPER. 🙂

    (MET: Oops, I’ll blame a poor spell checker … okay, I’m trying to scam people on eBay in selling it for $500mm … shhh, don’t tell anyone to read too closely 🙂 ).
