Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: Heyday Smokey, the 2019 Variant
No surprise, the Heyday Smokey of 2019 is a variant but he’s much more different than just an eyelid line.

Heyday Smokey has hubcaps now.
Back license plate on left and sharpr.
The eyes are positioned lower (right – 2019) – the color is also slightly darker but if it was just that, it would not be considered a vraint but the rims and eyes definitely does.
Definitely the heyday for variants.

Is the gas tank cap on different sides?
(MET: Yea, it might be but I didn’t want to commit to saying that until I cracked mine open – plus since it appears it’s just a tampo decal, it might just be another minor switch …).
I think you meant “Heyday Smokey no longer has hubcaps” — the older releases have the solid cap, the new one has the hole.
