Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: Mud Racing XRS Singles are Diecast
The “Mud Racing” XRS are definitely diecast (for those unsure).
BTW, Cal Weathers sports a HANK WEATHERS name decal on his roof – I doubt they will fix it unless they get around t a couple waves.
It looks like 5 of the 6 listed are all that is out. Presumably Speedy Comet will part of Wave 2.
There are also 3 Deluxe (oversized) releases but they have nlt hit retail stores yet. Miss Fritter, Arvy & Mater.

I noticed the playset at my local WalMart. It’s been there a couple weeks. The Lightning McQueen that comes with the playset is plastic. It looks like the diecast single but is a darker red and has a spot on its hood. It has similar suspension to the diecast.
