Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS 2: Kmart Holiday Garage – Regift …

There was a listing for a Kmart Garage exculsive for the holidays, instead of sugar plums, I think everyone was hoping for some pit row garage for our rubber tire Kmart Piston Cup racers but, um … not so much …

It’s the parking garage from last year – updated graphics and 6 diecasts … that if you’re in Patagonia until November 2011 will be TOTALLY ALL NEW for you … but if you’re not out in the wilderness … but fun for kids?

Peace out.

TRIVIA SPOILER ALERT.

In the ensuing years since we last saw McQueen, he’s won 4 Piston Cups and 1 Hudson Hornet Piston Cup … you can fill in the blanks.

They had this last year at Costco. It’s very well constructed and if you have little ones I would highly recommend it.

I have seen Ramone’s Color Changer play-set in C2 packaging as well.

Yup. Supposedly the new Cars 2 playset comes with an exclusive Ramone (which is actually the cool green ramone with striping and all from Cars 1 that also changes to blue). He looks awesome, but $25 for the same silly playset? No thanks! Since all of the color changers are “exclusive” to TRU this go round, I will hope that it is the playset that is exclusive and not the Car in the playset (make sense I hope?). Fingers crossed that he shows up in the next wave of Cars 2 color changers as a single.

5 bucks says McQueen or one of the Cars in that players is a slight variant.

This was an easy pass for me… and not too many Cars items were… It looked like it good be fun to play with, but it just wasn’t (isn’t) for me.

Not getting this play set at all, sorry to those who have it

The last one wasn’t bad. We ended up getting it on clearance for like $12 or something. Sturdy and cool for $12, that’s for sure. Heaven help us if they put an exclusive variant in here. How many will show up on the shelves returned a day later with packing tape on the side and a not so exclusive replacement? 🙂 Plus, it will probably start at $40 or $50. Not worth that by any stretch…
