Disney Pixar CARS 2: Actor Preview

“TrboTrex” found this in the recent issue of People magazine …

Obviously the plane has a pretty big part … so maybe we will get a chromy version …

Thanks, “TrboTrex” and note – he was not reading the Sexiest Man issue of People from cover to cover but rather this page fell out as he was using this magazine as a weapon to fight off the 5 ninjas that attacked him when he was trying to finish logging his backyard. I hate when that happens.

    What about Luigi and Guido? You would think an adventure partly in Europe would include them. And Mack might be too big to negotiate the skinny streets of Europe, unless they make a lorry version of him.

    A few things;

    I suspect that a few of the normal Radiator Springs crew have stayed at home for this adventure. Perhaps Holley is the ‘new Sally’? It also is becoming more obvious that Mater is going to be the central character and McQueen perhaps more of a sidekick. As for new Cars products I think we will be getting not only hordes of new diecasts but also perhaps hordes of variants. For example, if FinnMcMissile is “loaded with more high tech gadgets than the Batcar” perhaps we will see a different diecast for each gadget. Time will only tell….

    I was living in Puerto Rico in the 70’s. The Pacer was a “popular” car back then. Unfortunately, the Spanish word for fishbowl is “pecera” which sounds an awful lot like “Pacer”. Of course, the coincidence was not unnoticed as the Pacer did look a lot like a fishbowl. –Of course, I was just a kid back in the 70’s. I’m not dating myself or anything!

    DONDE ESTA NEW FINAL LAPPERS?!?!?!?!?!?!

    Stu is correct that it is a Pacer AKA “Pregnant Roller Skate”. We had a Gremlin and a Hornet from AMC growing up and is what I learned to drive in. The Gremlin was great to take the driving test in when it came to parallel parking. I still drive a AMC Jeep. Defiantly will get a couple of Gremlin’s for OLD Time Sake. Loved the old commercial with the tag line ” Where’s the rest of your car Toots”? I hope they do the gas cap correctly.

    Sure wish mainstream magazines would let “car guys” author
    the articles they run about cars and in this case, Cars.
    Even the most novice of novices car guy knows the difference
    between a Pacer and a Gremlin on the Joe Montegna character.
    That just can’t be right. Glad to see some AMC vehicles
    will be in the movie, though.

      Even if not, isn't that a chrome "Pacer" logo on the hood? That should have been a clue…
