Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Lenticular CASE G (Revised #2) & Lenticular CASE H

America’s favorite lenticular diecast are back!

The revision is that we have two fewer Ramones in this case – replaced by a King & a Bling Bling Lightning McQueen.

If you’re behind in your lenticular collection, it’s a nice case with several hard to find CARS.

And also released, CASE H … double the eyes! Double the value!

Thanks for the update & info, ChildrensToyCloset.com.

The WM sidekick-hanging endcap seems to be a combo of these two cases much like the last WM “tray” shipment which comprised of a combo of several cases – though WM did not get seem to have gotten the Hydraulic Ramone (Metallic Finish) CHASE as part of the endcap – most people who have reported seeing it have seen him separately, correct?

An updated checklist will be coming soon.

And does anyone care most of the townies will be released on the short cards – anyone want a list?

Case H definitely has a Yellow Ramone as I bought one in the UK today along with Bling Bling LMQ.

  • Jeaks says:

Well I for one have no problems with the lenticular. Livinbg in Australia there is no chance top be fussy. Besides it is the style and sculpture I enjoy not the eyes. I could care less if the eyes move or of they are fixed.

If a different Car comes in lenticular that I don’t already have then I grab with glee and do a little happy dance.

On this note you can impagine my joy this week at going into Myer (a department store) and finding Ransburg King Chase, Vern’s taxi, Antonio, and Jay Limo singles. Previously found Pit Crew Sarge, Dexter Hoover Chequered Flag and Bling Bling LMQ Chase.

All lenticular but a hapopy dance it was. Good dooges all round.

  • ScoobyDoo says:

As all of the 40 comments relates to non-lenticular chase models, Met could consider to leave of any posts regarding lenticulars in the future as no-one bothers, and rightly so 😉

  • Nascarfan says:

I have Flo and Sally if anyone needs them

  • phantomrs says:

I saw these today but ramone was gone, found deluxe TJ however.

  • rjf9081 says:

I would love to see a list of the short cards. It would be nice to know if I had all of them.

    Thank you

Met, the 3 Chase Ramome’s and Race Official Tom’s I saw early a.m. today at WalMart were fresh out of the cases with no Charlie Checker or Chase Bling in sight, (at about 4 a.m., darn ebay sellers) but they were on an end cap. This is the first store I saw Cases G & H in one place.

  • carscrazydd says:

Found 2 yellow Ramone’s early a.m. today at 1 Walmart, 3 Chase Ramone’s at another WalMart half hour later, was just at these two stores Tuesday early a.m. / Try to get out early after WalMart stocks around mid-night to 2 a.m., have to beat the eBay sellers who never sleep!

  • Aaron & Jeanne Scriven says:

i got my bling blings first and then that same walmart got like 4 cases with the ramone after 🙂 yay 🙂 now if target would get the stinking final laps! they havent been behind until this case!

    • carscrazydd says:

6 Targets in Central Ohio, no one eye mater/nick stickers/donna pitts yet. You’re right, they were right on until this case. I finally decided to cut part of my burning gas losses (Targets before 10 p.m., Walmarts after mid-night) and got all three at once from eBay. Considering the cost of gasoline and time, the price was fair for a buy-it-now listing. I still like to go hunting, just started seeming futile.

  • Eric says:

Well, unless the WM endcap doesn’t fit into the case H assortment, the case H assortment posted here is wrong. There absolutely is (or was) a Yellow Ramone in that assortment (can’t swear there is more than 1 per case, but at least 1). Saw them at Walmart the day they put out whatever they had that contained the lenticular Chase Bling Bling McQueen.

(MET: As noted above, the WM endcap-sidekick is not simply CASE G & CASE H combined. This is a listing of CASE G & CASE H available to resellers from Mattel. The WM case is only available to WM).

  • jestrjef says:

I found Yellow Ramone in the Walmart sidekick ….. might have been two of them …. 🙂

  • BigMOCats says:

BlingBling chase at 1 W-M on Wed., chase Ramone at another today in StL.

  • Daniel says:

I found 1 Yellow Ramone in that case….maybe it’s an International “exclusive” (despite it being in the last KM Day case)?

  • CaptainChunk says:

Couldn’t begin to care less about these. My WM hasn’t moved any of theirs since Christmas.

  • boots says:

I found a chase ramone at 1 of our walmarts in south east michigan, semms like the other 5 didn’t get the cases yet or i missed them

  • jclimbng says:

    Two comments:

I thought there was a Yellow Ramone is case H – possibly from an earlier case? It was out with the recent lot.

Secondly, if there is time, I wouldn’t mind seeing a Short Card list. I know there may not be too many folks with these in there collection, but I wonder now and then if I managed to pick them all up.

    Thanks everyone for the info.

    Jon

  • babychristianscars says:

NO endcap display in our walmart and I haven’t seen any chase cars in forever.

I did find both dragon mcqueen and yokoza at Beall’s it was so cool to just see them hanging around.

  • Micky says:

    One other comment…

What’s with Chase Ramone? He doesn’t look any different to me than regular Red Ramone. If there is a difference, it’s so slight…why bother?

    • Piston Car Hunter says:

I think regular Ramone is more “sparkly”, while chase Ramone is more metallic.

    • I-am-speed says:

Chase Ramone has more of a “candy” finish, a little more transparency and “depth” in the paint.

    • carscrazydd says:

Looking at both in sun-light or bright flash-light reveals course metal-flake in regular Ramone, while Chase Ramone is finer metal-flake which gives more depth appearance to the paint. Hood, trunk and door lines are not as deep comparing the two cars due to the double ransburg paint process. Chase finish color is slightly darker and higher luster because of smoother paint appearance.

Also, paint im-perfections (scratches/die-cast metal im-perfections/paint bubbles) are easier to notice on the Chase Ramone than the regular Ramone because of the extra smooth finish!

  • Micky says:

I got the Chase Bling Bling at Walmart, from the hanging end cap, a few weeks ago. I found Chase Ramone at Target this week. I never did see Chase DJ in the wild. I guess I just missed him.

  • BMW says:

Met, thanks for clearing up the case contents. The endcap at my Walmart, did not have the Chase Ramone. It had 4 Bling Chases.

  • Piston Car Hunter says:

Which case contains Chase King (Ransburg)? I?

(MET: They generally skip I – too similiar to 1 and go to J so it’s looking like it should be CASE J).

  • Piston Car Hunter says:

Target is also getting the Chase Ramones. I’ve seen 3 at Targets in this area.

  • Everyone found Case H at Walmart. I want Chase Ramone from Case G!

  • jestrjef says:

I found the Walmart sidekick on Wednesday …. eh …. not much excitement, but it is the MOST excitement I have had in a while. Bring on the OCTANE GAIN PITTY PACKS AND NEW HAULERS!!!! 🙂
