4) No, I do not know why.
5) Yes, Green is a often considered a different color than Yellow in the real world. But often when you work in the dark, it is difficult to discern colors.

7) Yes, everything is lenticular if you head vigorously and drink many cans of soft drink but no, these cars are not particularly lenticular.

Buyers of new vehicles can deduct the sales tax paid on the purchase, even if they don’t claim sales taxes as itemized deductions. They can add the tax they pay to their standard deduction. This break applies to new cars, motor homes, light trucks and motorcycles purchased after February 16, 2009 and before January 1, 2010. Sales tax paid on the first $49,500 of cost qualifies. for opener like me, paying $19 for a green flag is sure a No-No
Strange that it is Race O Rama….
The box says “The World of Cars”.
He means that it is the Race-O-Rama motif.

What’s wrong with charlie’s lights I thought charlie’s lights were yellow and pace car is red.
Yes I know both cars are officially the same but I bought one as pace car and one as charlie.
Only after finding this board did I realize pace had yellow lights and charlie red. But someone told me charlie should have yellow lights and mine is wrong.
(MET: Actually: Pace – Red, Charlie-Yellow).
CLARIFICATION: The Piston Cup Pace Car that was in the “Wal-Mart 8” packaging had red tail lights. Later, Charlie Checker had yellow tail lights. BabyChristianCars may be referring to the lightbar on top of the car, which is yellow on both the Piston Cup Pace Car and Charlie Checker.
Boring.

No interest whatsoever… they should’ve at least included the Police/SWAT Hauler and maybe the price would’ve been decent. 🙁 Oh well…

Actually, I prefer store exclusives because you know exactly where to find a particular item. However, said store should have a good stock to make their customers happy….yeah, Target sucks at the later.

Did they make Charlie with orange taillights just to keep the pace car “officially” a Walmart Exclusive…. and why don’t the people who make the exclusives actually pay attention to the items people actually want to buy…. I mean, this is almost as bad a set as the other tru piston cup exclusive (lightning, chick, the king, leak less and nitroade).
They could just replace tom with Richard and it would be sooooo much better. Now to happier things…… When is the release date for the UFM Cars?
p.s. I know I go on rabbit trails a lot, but once I start typing, you know, these things just come to me 🙂

I’m geting this just for the Dexter Hoover with a green flag. They could have made Charlie Checker’s lightbar light up or change the expression to match the artwork. And they could have replaced Axle Accelerator with one of the security trucks. And Race Official Tom could have been replaced with Kori Turbowitz. And they could have replaced Lightning McQueen with a new reporter.
Sorry, regarding question 13, I might actually not spend $20 for a little flag. Ridiculous. Not MET’s question, but the price (and Mattel’s decision to make it that way). If it doesn’t get released as a single, I think I will also get out the green paint and make my own.
I’ll paint the yellow flag green on one of my extra Dexters.

21) Where are the “Doomsday, The End of Regular Eyes” people now? Latest Final Laps….yup, not lenticular. This box set…yup, not lenticular. Guess it made a good headline and generated some good traffic.
I’m not sure how McQueen and 4 cars regurgitated from 2008 prove that “Regular Eyes” are not going the way of Dodo bird.
I think I would personally drop $10 for one because I like the box sets and Dexter Hoover ….. I will just wait until it gets down that low ….

Perhaps they’re trying to make the Easter eggs look better by dropping this steamer. Jumping the shark indeed! LOL How about this 5 pack:
Lightning McQ, Bug Mouth McQ, Tar McQ, Tumbleweed McQ, and McQ with cone.
Or they could do this 5 pack: Sheriff (with flashing lights), Ramone (with working hydraulics), Mater (with flashing light and working tow hook), Lightning McQueen with cone, and Doc Hudson (with working headlights).
If Piston Cup rules follow closely to NASCAR rules than each race team will have an official in their pit stall sometimes more than one. plus the others around the track. A full field of cars will need at least 2 pace cars. Police are everywhere, to control traffic and arrest those roudy infield cars. On old school tracks they had flag men stationed at stratigic spots around the track to warn drivers. and who doesn’t want their 25th LMQ. So It’s 19.99 for 4 cars you need to set up your 1/55 th scale speedway of the south set like an actual race.
I can say price gouging…I’m not paying $19.99 plus tax for a green flag… Bring on the RV box set… something with new Cars!
I will feel dirty spending $20 on this, but I probably will. They could have at least thrown in a mega sized RCK or one of the camera crew guys to make me not feel so bad about myself.

I would gladly pay $20 for 5 cars that I didn’t already have. I can see how some folks might not have 4 of these, but everyone has McQueen. God forbid that they release a pack of any kind without McQueen in it.

I’m confused — so is this Dexter Hoover the same as the first release?
Handy the flag is at the end of the box so when the tealeafs open it the flag is easy to reach.
Also i can have as many diffrent flags as i want with a quick shop at the art store.
