Are they going to make the Mia & Tia that were with Mater at the end? They were awesome!

How come all the pimped tuner cars are wearing wierd accessories on their heads and no elaborate spoilers? Only McQueen and the pink/white car are wearing spoilers. I like spoilers and I wish there were more!

Thank you all for the kind words, I really appreciate it, it’s all good. Mia Senorita, seems that there will be approx. 20 die cast Characters, more or less, released from Mater’s T. Drift.
Each and every one of those singles will be off of Mater’s Tow Hook. Happy hunting.

The canon/non-canon thing cracks me up. I agree that expansion of the Cars universe could have gone horribly wrong (yeah, I am talkin’ to you Disney!) But thankfully, as they always do, Pixar kept it real. Same caliber of writing/animation etc.. that same wit, all of the same qualities that made us love Cars from the beginning. How can you say no, how?
I guess I shouldn’t ask, I should just be greatful, more for me 😉

You can have all of my allotment Met. I feels good to be almost done collecting CARS. Just need to finish out the final round set and be on the lookout for any of the Piston Cup racers that were never released as singles. Long live “The Canon.’ : )

These Tuners are ours, they are diecast and there are many more coming so keep those wallets nearby.
Old habits die hard so I check this site every once in a while. Luckily there were a ton of Characters to do in this short and it is the longest of the ones produced to date. Sweet.
Just gotta remember that I didn’t design these,JL and his Pixar crew designed/develpoed these Bad Boys, My old Design/Enginnering/Packaging team just tried to make sure we did it right & it’s looking like we did. Still very proud of this little Line but the one thing constant here @ Mattel is change and you just have to go with the flow.
Do miss you all tho. 🙁

As long as they stay completely die-cast, minus lenticulation, I’ll get these.
But what I really would love to know, is if we’ll get the catbus-painted minivan that is seen in the top-left of the victory celebration at the end? I know a couple Miyazaki fans other than myself who’d get that bad boy.
I’d also love a Tokyo Police Car…still love that ‘donuts! I LOVE donuts!’ bit.

My husband recently became a Carstoons collector. I showed him the Rescue Mater I had found and he says, “Hey he’s great! Sooo…where’s yours?”. Now I have to hunt for my son AND my husband! LOL!
WONDERFUL!!! What a smile they will bring to PirateSon’s face! These were desgined by Martin before he left, right?

Some are cute, some I don’t know, but they are Disney cars so of course I’d buy them.

I think these are nice and of course I have to collect them all but if I am correct these are made by Tomica and not Mattel. This dosen’t look like Martins work. Is that correct?

Tomica may produce their own line but Mattel will be manufacturing the items in the photos above. Those photos are on the Mattel B2B site.
there are some out by tomica on ebay .. but these ones are mattels for sure 🙂
