Yep, it’s pumpkin season … um, what did you think I was talking about?
But this year, instead of a chain saw and dental tools, Jeanne S. found us some sharp implements of decoration …
I expect to see this art of CARS in pumpkin form from all of you … along with a dozen pies …
With these easy patterns, how can you miss – other than gouging your skin and going to the emergency room … plus pie.
Though honestly, one year I decided to bake a pie from scratch and 11 hours later and 3 trips to the grocery store to buy every ingredient … one tablespoon! Why did I buy the 5 lb bag of cinnamon … I realized I just baked a crappy $83.14 pie.
But hey, remember to buy pumpkins in scale for the different CARS – and send us pics of your CARS handiwork …don’t forget to make a set with lenticular eyes 🙂

This makes me wonder. No special Halloween Cars this year?
(MET: Doesn’t look it for 1:55 series with Christmas CARS coming soon though Easter (packaging) CARS are scheduled …).
So since you mentioned lenticulars, I would like to add a complaint. my daughter had her Flo out, and left it on the floor upside down. I backed up and barely stepped on it and the whole top of the car pushed right down inside. The whole top/roof is plastic!!!!! It is connected to the eyes and anyway it is ruined. I wonder if the others are like this too?
(MET: Interesting … must be another cost savings …).
So what happens when we give one of these to Kevin for the paint thinner bath…… Melted googly eyes and roof??? Sounds like a horror movie just in time for Halloween 😈

I stepped on my son’s regular Flo and her top collapsed too. I don’t remember if it was plastic or metal though. Flo must not be very structurally sound. 🙂

Great, just what a take 5’ver needs to find on the shelf after realizing that Hobby Lobby carries no diecast Cars…. edged weapons!
We always use these kind of patterns for Halloween.. but I have never seen Cars ones – cute! I would like to see anyone that can carve Sally’s tire without hurting themselves or the pumpkin….. Also, how does one get that effect shown on Ramone’s grill?
My wife got the Lightning McQueen pumpkin kit for me last year… I came home from my bowling league and when I went into the kitchen it was there… already carved, and the candle was lit. I got a few photos… I really liked it.
I did a Lightning McQueen carving also. I used a battery operated flickering candle and it was awsome!
The trick or treaters loved it!

Which ones did you find? I was at TRU today in Houston and they had the one 4 pack with dalmation twins and chopper. Only the Cars Toons mega singles
burnt mcq, pitties, kori , and trooper.. gto was OF COURSE gone! 🙂

Not too handy with carving, but one year we did pick up one of those kits and I was able to carve a Pirate that wasn’t too bad. Can’t wait to find one of these to try. At least if it turns out bad, only the trash can will see it.. 😆

Pattern or no patterns. I believe I have very little chance of me taking sharp tools to a round object and it actually coming out like it supposed to look. However it looks like family fun and my 8 year old daughter will have fun laughing at Daddy when her pumpkin looks better. I am however getting flasbacks to the problems that Myself and most of the other boys had in arts and crafts in grammer school, as the girls created these so neat and beautiful crafts. At least I understand now why there were always a few boys who were as neat as the girls LMAO.
(MET: Option B is to fire away with a BB gun until you form the pattern … but you didn’t hear or legally read that here 🙂 ).
