Also, I’d wish there could be more time spent on trying to make ALLL the cars from the movie…

Well, I’ll buy two sets… one to open, and one to leave in the display box! Same with the other sets, Sarge’s Boot Camp and Mater’s Tall Tales.

I see myself buying the 6 Car box set for keeping in the box, and either a second set to open or the singles of Sally, Mater, Doc, and McQueen… I’ve turned 50 extras into homemade ornaments so far – I’d seen how 2 of my friends did that – and bought a tree at the clearance sale just after Christmas so I could have a Cars themed tree in my Cars room/study this year… my wife says no Cars on the real tree in the living room.
My birthday and Christmas lists this year will be Cars, Cars, and more Cars and money for Cars, Cars, and more Cars!
yeah I will have to buy at least 2 sets and probably 3, one for the boy, one for me, and one to keep in the fantastic display. Also considering purchasing a few extra Maters to have the full set of reindeer maybe even a quick custom job on Mater for a Rudolph.
Same as everyone, at least two sets, one to keep in the box, and one to display in a snow village. Need some Saguaro Cactus minatures with snow to recreate a Christmas in Radiator Springs.
I think this might be the first thing I need two of, but definately two, as in one for me to open and one for me to put in the display case. These might be even cooler than SDCC Mater……aaaaaaaaaackkkk, I can’t believe I said that.

Acura, we always buy at least 2 of all, one to open and one to save. So on this, we will buy the box set to save, and then depending on cost and availability it wont matter if we find them as singles or as a set for the openers. Will it be cheaper per car to buy all 6 at once? I hope!
Also if you need any more in-depth cheap market research, you can always send me the new stuff to test-drive……….

1 for the tree also. Brian has all kinds of Hot Wheels Holiday cars and these will work just right for the tree with his others. So make it 3 sets.

Uk people, i noticed that the story teller singles were on buy one get one free at tesco, is this just mine trying to shift the excess stock or is it the same all over?
they olny seemed to have Smell Swell LMQ, Doc, Wedding Day Ramone, Rusty & Dusty & Red.

I wouldn’t want John to cut himself on the cardboard or a missed burr on one of the CARS…….you’d better send to me first, so I can remove(I mean check) the CARS before I pass on the (empty) box to Missouri.
I love the mock-up being made with a reversed/inverted Hot Wheels box! I’ve been around Hot Wheels collectors who almost laugh at the mention of CARS items.

There is still one more coming, just not sure when. It is the SantaCar. Looks really nice, kinda like an old BoatTailed Dusenburg. Really long hood, boat tailed rear end on ski’s in front, kinda snowmobile rear drive.
SantaCar being pulled by a bunch of Pitties could be cool. Mater at the lead with a red LED nose?

You can’t see in this shot but Sally has really cool snowflake deco as this is an early prototype.. Red Ribbon Ramone is cool as well. I would have liked to see MCQ a little more Christmas’ed out but hey, this is what Pixar wanted.
Can’t wait to show you all SantaCar but it’s still to prelim. Will share when I can. Believe me me when I say he’s worth the wait.

My thoughts exactly, sally looks sparkly even from the prototype photos; mcqueen even though he looks awesome could have been cooler, but I still would greatly enjoy having him…
But from the sound of it, this Santa Car is gonna be THE BESSST
any chance on telling us which character’s gonna be decorated in the santa suit? or is it gonna a completely new character??
p.s. Martin, I bet you have the COOLEST collection in the world. where do u keep all of them? and I bet your kids are happy that you have the COOLEST job in the world. Too bad Mattel tries to hold you back too often; I guess they can’t handle the heat

My Cars Collection is starting to grow a bit, I store it up in my garage storage area. I’ll need every penny when I sell it for my kids college books.
Andrew & Allison both got honor roll this past report card again so I’m hoping scholarship, Dad buys a boat instead!

I’m thinking double Red Ransburg finish myself, for SantaCar. Mrs. SantaCar is pretty cool herownself. Looks kinda like a Cord, one of my favorite Cars of all time.
