Thanks for the heads up & nice pics, “John H.” He found some singles on card with an included coupon. These are generally applied at a Mattel distribution center. Cases are opened, these get applied and re-packed for retail stores.

Here’s a preview of the display box of the 2018 Micro Racer singles (in bags). While released overseas, it does not seem to have hit the US yet. It’s not high res but there seems to be no real surprises as the poster included is more revealing. A bunch are available in the 10-pack.
