Hi everyone,
Nice to meet you all – I'm a long-time lurker, first time seller, but I've been collecting Cars since 2006 when I fell in love with the first movie! I really liked how its art style matched a book I loved in my childhood called Suzie the Little Blue Coupé – if you haven't seen it before, you should YouTube it (there's an animated short of it). It's quite good.
Anyway, unfortunately I've got to move to the city which means a much smaller place and nowhere to keep my beloved Cars collection. Luckily for you guys, it means I'm selling a lot of my mint in box collector's quality Cars! The Cars I am selling are listed below. Please keep in mind, I am from Australia – however postage is quite inexpensive (especially to the USA). Everything comes from a smoke-free home of course. I'm open to negotiation for price, since I'm not sure what they're all worth anymore (what with Cars 2 out now). If they don't sell here they're going on eBay, but I'd much rather they go to true Cars fans even if it means selling them a little cheaper! Is it really bowling mater..or just brand new mater…I'm guessing just brand new mater cuz a carded bowling mater is worth a bazillion dollars..

I assumed it was the boxed version of Mater's Rollin' Bowlin' Game.

I don't think Brand New Mater was ever on a Desert Back, so it must be Bowling Mater. Might want to rethink the asking price for that one.

NOTHING SAYS HE HAS TO SELL AT THAT PRICE LOL IF HE MADE A MISTAKE WHY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SOME ONE WHO DOES NOT KNOW THE VALUE IF IT CAME FROM 1 OF 500 SET THE VALUE OF THE CAR IS 400-600 DOLLARS OR MORE DEPENDING ON HOW BAD YOU WANT IT JUST A LITTLE INFO FOR YOU BUD GOOD LUCK SELLING IF THAT IS WHAT IT IS

This is one of my all-time favorite threads!
Apollo clearly states that Rollin' Bowlin' Mater is in "Desert Packaging", as opposed to "Desert Card" or "Desert Box", which are identified as such on the other items. He or she also knows what Brand New Mater is vs. Rollin' Bowlin' Mater, as the very next item is "Supercharged Card Brand New Mater".
This thread reminds me of that old game where the teacher whispers something in a student's ear, and then that students whispers the message to the next student, and so on and so forth. By the time the message is delivered by the last student, it's completely different than the teacher first said.

Wow, hi everyone. This got intense quickly, haha.
It is definitely not the 1 of 500 Brand New Mater released on desert card – it's just (to the best of my knowledge, the only release) of Rollin' Bowlin' Mater.
Corey's Daddy, thanks for responding. I'll e-mail you now.
I'm also about to e-mail Bumper Save – thanks for your reply. I've updated the prices on some of the above items, now that I've realised the formatting didn't hold true when I cut and pasted from Word – my apologies.

Sorry again guys, looks like I can't edit my original post. Some of the items are obviously not $5, like the Rollin' Bowlin' Mater. Does anyone know how I can fix this so as not to mislead people? Cheers. 🙂
