Today I went to the local flea market to visit a former co-worker that has 2 booths there. His booths are made up of video games and systems, movies, and toy collectibles. He does this full-time now and buys storage units and deals to sell to others. Well it has been a while since I have seen him so I decided to visit. He has expanded to 6 booths with about 8 arcade games setup for people to play as well as expanded his toy collectibles. Apparently he recently got a hold of lots of Disney Store merchandise of all kinds, including Cars. He told me he did have lots of it a while back but he still has a decent selection.
I decided to buy the El Matador set. Hey for $10, I was not going to complain. He is selling the singles for $6 and the Queen and Secret Agent sets for $20 each. I am thinking about going back next weekend to get the UFM and maybe a few others. He also has the Cars 2 Deluxe Figurine Set and the Tower Rescue playset. I wonder what all he had before that already sold. hmm…
This wasn't at a flea market in Augusta Ga was it? LOL we have a guy here at ours that has the same exact setup with arcade games and toys and he always has a huge section of disney store car stuff. Too funny!
Hey, it has been many months since I been out there so don't judge me. All the other times I went out there he was still small and never carried any Cars merchandise. Go figure. I usually see Kyle when he brings in stuff into where I work anyways. He had no idea I collected them.
And I had no idea there was anyone else from here on this site as well. I guess I need to pay some more attention.
Haha i knew it had to be local! I have always wondered if there was someone local on here so its cool to finally find someone. I knew there were local collectors because they always beat me to the good stuff I was just unsure if any visited this site!! His shops are cool though, my son always gets something cars related from him when when we walk the flea market.
Hey, you might not know this, but you both live pretty close to each other … maybe you have passed each other in that very same flea market!!!
Yea perhaps we have. Who knows. That is just too funny. Ya just never know who you might pass by some where that you actually have met or will actually meet in the future.
That is cool though. Another local collector that I know is competing against me… Always good to know the competition!!! lol…
