For the two or three of us collecting the TRU wooden Cars line, there are now three playsets from Cars 2. The newest, "London Grand Finale" is the only one with an exclusive car; think Sheriff in the Cars 1 Sheriff's Race n' Chase.

The appearance of new wooden cars usually signals the eventual release of the same car in die cast format.

I saw a Geo-Trax Cars 2 ad tonight…I'm glad my son outgrew geotrax…man that stuff is pricey…so are the wood ones!

TRU had a 50% off sale on the wooden line a month or two back so along with some coupons that were spend or lose we took the plunge. They will be Xmas presents in a couple of months. Only wish I could have found a Mack somewhere. (they were apparently recalled before Xmas 2010)
