it is why there is also a lot of old stock on the shelves a lot of people do this nothing to do with value equals value i think that they should all have different dcpi numbers example buying 20 sub finns on sale some place at $3 each return them to target with a vaild reciept for 20 pope mobiles you are givng target value for value but is it really equal

I haven't even been to Target in weeks because I am not interested in the multi-pack nonsense. Maybe I will go after Christmas to see if they have any good clearance deals.

Found 1 lonely Denise Beam 4 pack today in my small area of Southern California. . But just like everyone has already said, it's a tough pill to swallow for one brand new car.

Target in Frederick, MD had two Denise Beam 4 packs and a Ronnie Del Cooper 4 pack. It felt good to leave them on the shelf. In my mind I was thumbing my nose to Mattel.

I also left the Denise pack behind. I'm not buying sets for 1 car anymore. So I thank Mattel for being so lousy to collectors I no longer need to collect them all loyally.
Instead I collect what I want at the price I want. Yes it does feel good to stick my nose up at Mattel as well. They more than deserve it.
Perhaps Mattel will wake up and start trying to things right with so many buyers passing on their nonsense. Still can't believe they left us high and dry with so many Cars 1 cars we were supposed to get.

My Target had a Denise pack that was actually a Trunkov, and a Denise pack that was actually a nurse Cori. Someone is battling the exclusive war and winning.

More like Cheating.
My store has four or five Denise packs and one Ronnie Del, but I'm not paying $18 for one car, no way.

I found the Denise Beam 4 pack with Trunkov instead at the Target in Hemet the other day! hahaha
I think it's funny. I was wondering how these sellers on Ebay get them as singles.

I want to buy loose exclusives like Denise on fleabay, but have no way of knowing if the seller "stole" it by buying the set, taking the exclusive out, putting a peg warmer in and returning it to the store, or if the seller is an honest person who buys the set and sells the exclusive and the others separately…
I guess I could ask the person directly through fleabay's "ask the seller a question", but if they are dishonest enough to do a swap they would probably just lie to me as well.

At least this person took the extra effort to put in a Car that was a similar color as Denise, I wonder why?

Looks like the 4 packs will be $15 now until February. I guess anything left unsold will go on clearance. The L&S 4 packs are on clearance no and I might be tempted if the price continues to drop. BobbyJack opened his Spy Finn and Spy Mater on Christmas and those are the only L&S cars we have. He loves them and uses them on the DS Oilrig. With the Lemon voices built into that, I don't need any Lemon L&S cars yet.

Where in the store did you find the puzzles? At my target I just checked the Cars aisle but didn't look elsewhere.

In most Targets in my city, the puzzles can be found directly on the aisle perpendicular to the toy aisles. It should be a full aisle of board games and puzzles.
The car puzzle boxes are small, compared to the larger 100+ piece puzzles, so you may have to spend some time staring at the wall until they finally emerge from the camouflage of other puzzles vying for your attention! At least that is what I have to do.
Good luck!

The legos are cool, although I don't like the fact that the small sets have the stickers already applied.
I only built the Jeff Gorvette & Ivan mater, but I'm worried some might have jacked up stickers. (sounds like a McQueen variant) I'd rather put them on like the Rod Torque

Today several local Targets increased their markdown toys to 70% off. It was like a feeding frenzy LOL. People were filling up their carts with toys. One lady had a full cart and was working on a second one. Anyway, I picked up an Air Hog RC McQueen, the large one not the little guy. It was $49.99 in Walmart and $64.99 in TRU. I got it for $14.98 marked down from $49.99. It might pay to run by Target or at least give them a call to see if your local Targets are doing the same.

They seem like a silk screen or paint to me..not stickers…wither way…I've never had any "jacked up" decals on any legosets…we have hundered 🙂
