I completely agree, not releasing Trev was a total failure on the part of Mattel.

Thousands of Cars available for trade or sale.  Always looking for older and harder to find Cars.  Email me at slicepie@roadrunner.com

Love the collection, BBigMike! That's a really cool looking white & black Strip Weathers on the top shelf.

I'd have to agree about Trev.  He has been one of my son's favorites ever since his first viewing of Cars.  If Mattel had only made a Mega diecast Trev, we would have bought him straightaway – top of the list for sure. I almost bought this Geotrax one a while back, but had to abide by one of my arbitrary spending rules – 1:55 diecast only, unless the toy in question is done really really well.  One reason I think it is a marketing failure is that Trev perfectly bridges the gap between Cars land and the Island of Sodor, but hey maybe they'll end up making a wooden Trev for the TRU wooden Cars line….

You are right! It was the post with the vote on the final group of cars – Circus Cars, Albert Hickey, Barry Diesel, etc….  Pretty amazing that they actually made Barry Diesel, AND actually made him available to everyone! Would an HO scale model train work for a 1:55 Trev?  Here is the T5AD pic from that post….

Making a Wooden Trev is a great idea Laugh I'd love to have one of those.

Come to think about the size of Trev, if it were to be to scale, shouldn't it have to be in the same kind of box as Barry Diesel? And there were many other Cars that were never released, like all the K-Mart Exlusives, like Bernie Caliper, Studs McGirdle, Pit Crew Mack, etc. They also missed the boat on Albert Hinkey, too.
