ConfusedHello!

I'm very new to the collector game of Disney Pixar Cars…Diecast. I was wondering what the numbers were at the bottom of the cars. I recently read the number thats in black and white…ex. 2379 EAB… (The first three numbers are the days into the year and the last number is the year. The letters would be the manufacturing plant. There is also a number on the bottom that sometimes starts with the letter V. Does anyone know what that means?

The 5 character code on the package of each item is the individual product code designated by the manufacturer for that product.  It is not related to the production code nor the UPC.  It is mostly for ordering and internal tracking purposes.
