We opened our McQueen Alive! today that we got from Santa Claus and he doesn't work.  When I plug in the gas nozzle, the red light on the Allinol just flickers and cuts off.  It will not stay on, so I'm thinking it will not charge.  After leaving it and trying to turn it on, Lightning will begin to say Ka-Chow but cut off and not do anything.  Has anyone else had this problem?

Ours wasn't DOA, but after playing with it a little it seems the third mode has disappeared, it just says the same things over and over and scoots back and forth a few inches, doesn't drive much…

Do you have the Kmart rewards thing? If so, they should have emailed a copy of your receipt to you… otherwise, "Now let me see your war face!"

Final update:  Thanks for your responses.  The new McQueen Alive works great.  It is hard to get him into the third mode, but he is really cool when you do.  The kids thought he was great when he drove underneath the oven and complained about taking the wrong exit.

I have never seen this in the wild…let alone on clearance 🙁

We went out of town and left ours at home so I didn't have much time to fool with him. How do you get him into the third mode? Up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start?
