For the FIA World Endurance Championship, ahead of the Japanese marque's home race in Fuji (the race it later won, though with the No. 8 car), it recreated an iconic nighttime highway scene from the movie.
The scene recreated the Cars Mack segment, but with one key addition: its 2026 24-hour Le Mans winning No. 7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid.
Now the latter couldn't be recreated, since Toyota's convoy drove this on public roads toward Fuji Speedway in Japan. So, without full recreation, Car enthusiasts will know instantly of the scene encapsulated.
Toyota uses several modified Toyota cars to drive alongside it. The automaker chose a GR Supra, GR86, AE86, and Mark II to surround the convoy, four models among the most recognizable Toyota cars ever produced.
