Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: 20th Anniversary Radiator Springs 5-Pack Box Set is a Classy Upgrade (Part 1)

At first glance, the 20th Anniversary Radiator Springs 5-Pack just seems like a re-pack of townies (for newbies) with a cynical "label slap" of a 20th Anniversary logo to draw in completists but it turns out they spent time on the details to make it a great and classy looking set.

You can't tell until you remove the plastic sleeve ...

Lightning is covered in a nice red sheen but not quite metallic 0 the gold strip;ing is not terribly exciting but shimmery. The extra bonus is the non Lightyear tire markings and a mustard rim ...

Ramone has appeared in metallic before but this is a quality metallic look.

Also with nice shimmering gold elements ...

And details throughout done with care.
