Disney Pixar CARS: Todd, Pizza Planet Die Casts, Collect 'Em All

One of the best Easter Eggs Pixar fans look for in each film is spotting the Pizza Planet Truck (in CARS Land, known as Todd, the Pizza Planet Trick) delivering yummy pizzas ... so when he first appeared as die cast, there was much rejoicing ... He has appeared clean, "dirty", and with the addition of eyelids lines ... but there are also Hot Wheels versions in 1:64 and of course, Tomy Takara's 1:64 scale version.

From above, you can see the scale difference.

The other interesting difference is Tomy Takara's Todd (foreground) is ALL die cast metal including the camper shell including Pizza Planet's 3D logo on the roof while Mattel's CARS version has always had a plastic camper shell and plastic 3D blimp logo.

There are also Hot Wheels releases (without eyes) as just the Pizza Planet truck.

And a fun "wooden" one* when he appeared in BRAVE. *Not actual wood, wood like but diecast & plastic.

Both appeared in 2023 in the Hot Wheels Disney 100 Pixar Box Set ...

Collect 'em all.

For Toy Story 5, there will be a Papa John's tie in ... pizzas announced ...

"The Papa Johns tie-in will include Toy Story 5 "personal pizzas and dip cups, limited-edition collectibles, merchandise, immersive experiences, and an in-app game" in select markets worldwide, including London, Seoul, and Madrid, while they will be available throughout the U.S."

Unknown if that includes die casts ...
