I attempted my hand at 'making a custom' and it turned out pretty good. It was a Icar for Mason but I will say I won't do it again. Smile

If the ball stops there then I will definetly not have anything for you, sorry. If you can email me any others you may be looking, if you have any, I would appreciate it. You never know what will turn up.

Thanks Mike,

Steve

Sno, post a pic of your iCar!  I've got to make one too, so any tips you may have I would greatly appreciate.

That custom looks great Steve!
How did you do the eyes?
Did you just make your own decal graphics then print on fecal paper and apply?
I want to make some customs, so any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks. The fecal paper was the most difficult part. …It's fificcult to handle Laugh

Seriously though it was a lot more difficult to do and the paint was the hardest. Truth be told after trying to paint it 4 times and it not coming out right I turned it over to my buddy who works at a body shop and he painted it 'Nissan White'. Cool

The decals I got from another member who was a BIG!! help. and I printed them on decal paper. I had to test print a number of times to try and get as close to the 1:55 size as I could. I bought decal set which you will need to set the decals to the car. Everything is a decal btw. The eyes included. The clear coat is something I wish I had done because we have lost a little rivet already. It can be fixed though. Also when seperating the body and trying to re-attatch it the wheels came off center, I guess, because it does not role as smoothly now.

Anyway it was a long process, rewarding, but long.

It's really great, fecal matter aside.  How did you reassemble it, with rivets, screws, or JB Weld?
