This may be a dumb question but what's so special about the dirt track McQueen? I thought he was a common one back in the day? Or is it just because he's paired with this mater? I have never seen the mater before. 🙂

These were part of a specially released Box Set that was limited to a run of 500.  These two cars were NEVER released on this particular card, sooooo minty carded collectors would realllllly like to have them this way.  If you are an opener, they don't mean to much …. unless of course you do not have a Rollin' Bowlin' Mater Cool

Oh ok thanks Jef!!! 🙂 I'm going to watch it and see what it will end at (its fun to watch these things). I really have never even seen the mater before, he's cute and there are some cheaper opened ones on eBay and even a cute play set so I might get one for Tristan (we don't care about the whole carded thing because my son opens and plays with them all). Lol

Why do ebay sellers have a reserve? Why not just set the opening bid at the minimum amount you need to get?
