I think we've discovered that Mattel can be wrong on A LOT of things!

 

The first 15= May 16, 2011

Rod "Torque" Redline= June 1, 2011

Miles Axelrod= August 1, 2011

Petrov Trunkov= August 1, 2011

Nigel Gearsley= September 1, 2011

Hydraulic Ramone= September 1, 2011

Max Schnell= October 1, 2011

Shu Todoroki= November 1, 2011

Miguel Camino= November 1, 2011

Lewis Hamilton= COMING SOON!

Carlo Maserati= COMING SOON!

 

It's safe to say that these have been found wayyyy before their 'projected' release dates. Especially Lewis and Carlo.

Just because some dealers have  the cases with Carlo and Lewis singles, doesn't mean they are in stores.  I see nothing wrong with Mattel's projected dates..  Haven't seen Shu or Miguel singles in stores yet, though others have.
