He's in the midwest. This case has been around Illinois, sparsely and sporadically, since September. Have hope; you'll find them, Sno!

My guesses MIKE lives by a Mattel Distribution Factory that sells Cars at super cheap prices and he says he got them at places like Target and TRU because that was were they were supposed to be shipped!
Just kidding! You just make trips to hundreds of stores and get lucky nearly every time you do! 😀

Found Lewis Hamilton Launcher at Bergners of all places. The price was….

Wait for it….
…
$24.95! Yep, I sat it down and started walking away when I almost got hit in the face with a Sale Sign, "50% off all Disney Cars Toys" so I bought it for a better price of $14.54 with tax. Kingpin Nobunaga was there for $9.99, so if I bought one there on sale it would have been a better price than getting it at Wal-Mart!

And another outrageous price was $29.95 for LIGHTS AND SOUNDS SINGLES. Singles were $5.99 and 3 packs were $19.99.

Took a quick look at my local gordmans today and found…………wait for it………….wait for it…………………..
12 Paul Valdez, bought 1
15 Chet boxcarr, bought 1
9 Mack haulers
Pinion tanaka
Security guard finn, of course purchased
Sal machine, another purchase
Shu todorki
And my personall big score of the day, Mack team set. Which before, have never seen in the wild.
Where in the world have they been hiding these haulers? I wonder what other treasures are lurking deep in warehouse's across the US.

Wow, this is one greaaat score & sighting, it's almost…. supernatural! Way to go. I've seen only one Paul Valdez and one Chet Boxkaar in the wild, and only recently, at a TJ Maxx. If it were not for the kind tips from fellow T5ers I would have missed it. Anyway, what a fantastic assortment of cars.

Found 3 lightning McQueen with Hudson Hornet Cups at kohl's tonight.
Also picked up a Miguel. Everything else was older. wierd case assortment.
The coolest thing about thise lightning is this:
1. lightning's body is one piece….no discoloered plastic nose
2. his paint job is different than the cars 1 lightning…we all knew this, but it is more dynamic and goes beyond just the addition of the cup decal.
3. the wheels are a nicer, brighter red with the yellow stripe…just like the wheels on the Matty collector 1:24 car. pretty sweet!

IIt's easy to just look past the Lightning card backs…lightning has a bit of a menacing/aggresive face that is clearly different than the normal lightning…I almost missed it..

that looks like the assortment I saw…but it had been picked through…though they missed the 3 HH Lightnings…lucky me!!
I they had released this case 3 months ago…we'd all be peeing in our pants…not a bad assortment!

Well, Kohls has a lot going for it at the moment…. Baby Manifold just found the Carlo Maserati/Lewis Hamilton singles case there. It did not seem to include the Hudson Hornet PC L McQueen, as previously assumed, so it must only be the other new case, which Dunro had found which has that one. It did have regular McQueen with racing wheels. Important to note: Carlo has Acer's license plate, and Lewis has the corrected tooth gap, just like the KMart rubber tire version. Good luck all!
