Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS 2: Target Racing 4-Pack Mini Cooper

The Target racing 4-pack with Lightning McQueen’s Fan – Ronnie Del Cooper (Mini Cooper) is out.

His name is now known – Ronnie Del Cooper.

Cool touches of the Union Jack on the mirrors – and of course the roof.

I’m sure he has an American flag cousin … will there be dozens more flag versions?

Plus thunder sticks – we will, we will rock you!

Racing 4-pack #4 is still listed as “out of stock” online but hopefully, this will change soon.

Thanks for the great pics, “LCC-20.”

Our original post with links to box sets available online at Target.com.

BTW, ALL the Racing 4-Packs have the same DPCI numbers so calling or searching their DB won’t do much good.

Saw this 4 pack at Target today in Colorado. They had several with no one buying them so we will get it at the end of the week. πŸ™‚

Just got one of these four packs in the mail today from another T5ADer. Ron Cooper does look unusually large for a Mini-Cooper. Maybe he is one of those new Mini-Clubman which are actually almost a foot longer and 3 inches wider than the Mini-Cooper. That would better explain why he is so big. And Ronnie Del-Clubman just didn’t have a good ring to it. Oh well, he still looks really cool and will be awesome with all the other race fans next to Coriander Widetrack. (She is too big also.)

  • MINIANO says:

So who has found this 4-pack, and where did you find it? Nothing in the Philadelphia area yet. As a blue Mini Cooper owner I am DYING to get this set!!

    • oliversmom says:

      Targets only so far

      • MINIANO says:

Sorry, that is what I meant. Nothing at any local Targets.

        • Paulharmo says:

I’m looking for it too, Anthony :/ No dice yet.

          • Man-I-Fold says:

Found in Chicago at 1 of 4 Targets checked. The 4-pack assortment appeared largely unchanged from the original release day, aside from the appearance of 2 of these tucked behind the rest. The scanner said stockroom “Yes”, so maybe this 4-pack is trapped in stockrooms right now, wherever you are not having luck. Ronnie is great! The rest of the cars in the pack appear to have QC inferior to the singles and/or launchers – dirty paint, dust in paint, missing paint/decal specks, etc. Not complaining, just saying. Good luck all!

  • babychristianscars says:

I too left lots of frank on the pegs long ago.

I will be returning my singles in order to afford the 4 packs.

Any doubles will become ornaments I can hang on my son’s tree at the cemetary and leave there forever. Something I wish I had done with cars 1 but I never had any doubles other than mcqueen.

  • NorCalRik says:

off the topic, does anyone have an idea how many racers there will be?

    • Fillmore1234 says:

Only the 11 known, Lightning, Francesco, Jeff Gorvette, Carla Veloso, Raoul Γ‡aroule, Shu Todoroki, Max Schnell, Lewis Hamilton, Nigel Gearsley, Miguel Camino, and Rip Clutchgoneski. That’s all that are shown in the Essential Guide, and Tokyo is the first race, so those shown in that starting lineup are the only racers.

  • Man-I-Fold says:

He is so cool, I definitely will be looking for him. The Cars 2 line is quickly replacing Jr. and I’s favorite $1 Hot Wheels/Matchbox/Maisto diecasts with Cars with eyes, for only $3 to $17 more per car – heh heh.

  • kdthomas says:

Note to Mattel/Retailer: I will not buy three cars I already have to get one I don’t have in this series. You will sell more to us if you stop this practice.

    • quercy says:

I think this is a losing case. Mattel is not reading our comments in here. This practice will never end. Well will end when we stop buying… πŸ˜‰

      • sidewall74shine says:

Remember the original Movie Moments, when all the cars were exclusive? Now, it’s one exclusive and one duplicate. Worse, the multipacks.Mattel, wake up, read this and Cars the toys. You’re killing your own money.

  • I want him! He looks awesome!

  • jordan bellamy says:

OMFG! theres a pixar cars 2 diecast MINI COOPER I NEED I NEED I NEED I NEED IT NOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • boogity says:

why would the mini not be supporting a british/german racer rather than a good old boy, do not understand this, and whats more will not be buying.

  • Bumper Save says:

I think we should still call him ‘Mr. Britley.” πŸ™‚

  • bobbyjack says:

Now I have to decide if it is worth it to return a Jeff Gorvette single to Walmart and Max launcher to Kohl’s and get this box set from Target.

    • Bumper Save says:

I purposely refrained from buying them until this showed up so I could get the exclusive dude.

      • bobbyjack says:

This box set would be perfect if it wasn’t for that extra McQueen that will be impossible to return because he is in all the other box sets. It almost makes you want to return a 4 pack with 4 McQueens.

        • NascarFan says:

we have seen a few people do that over the years on this site. They should be arrested.

          • bobbyjack says:

The store clerks who accept them returned like that are almost as guilty.

            • Man-I-Fold says:

I decided that for the Cars 2 line it’s ok to get 2 of each new character, especially since I’m able to pay the real retail price this time around (thus far, knock on wood). The 2nd car will either be a replacement for whatever gets broken or lost, or it could go to Baby Manifold in the future. I returned some Jeff Gorvette singles, so this box will yield Jeff copy #2, Max #2 (have the launcher), and regular-paint Cars2 McQueen #4. I’m so glad McQueen isn’t in every single racing 4-pack for this line. I’ll end up with far less McQueens to give away.

              • bobbyjack says:

We are already going to be stuck with another Race Team Mater when he comes out with the yellow ape car. Another Acer when Security Guard Finn comes out. If Mater’s Secret Mission Case B doesn’t come out before we open them, we will be stuck with another Professor Z when Tyler Trunklis comes out and another Holley when Fred Fishbowski comes out. I guess its unavoidable so I might as well start my son’s second set of Cars to go his Grandmother’s house.

  • Jack says:

You are forgetting about the Pope. Which I believe will be perhaps the most sought after Disney deluxe vehicle ever.

    • Dunroamin says:

While I’m excited to obtain the pope…he will probably be more available than Bessie and Frank…

      • Jack says:

I don’t know James. Bessie I have to agree was very hard to find. They were never put out in large numbers. I personally found at least 10. 4 in one Kohls alone. I could have found more at the time but didn’t think they would be out for such a short time.
As for Frank, for a long time he was easy to find. Unfortunately I didn’t realize to pick them all up but I could have bought hundreds that I left behind in a couple year period before knowing their value.
So far the Pope is only scheduled to be in 1 or 2 cases. So I am not sure how hard it will be to find or how many they will release but I do think the Pope and Pope Mobile will be the most sought after in the sense more people will want the pope than any other vehicle. So depending on availability it may become the most valuable one yet.

        • John says:

I would have thought the Elvis RV would be ‘most sought after’, but they are pegwarmers.

          • Jack says:

Nah. Elvis was too long ago. Although I think your request for the Beatles Cars would do well. The Pope is huge. So many people worship the Pope. I just believe so many people all over the world will want a Pope and Pope mobile. I guess we will see.
The Queen car as well. Another biggie. There are some huge players, her Majesty and all in Cars 2.
I don’t think the critics will be allowed to say anything bad about this one or else off with your head.:)
Hey I wonder if they will put out the special edition with real gold Queen car?

  • buckland-blowouts says:

I think we are feasting our eyes on the soon to be most popular die cast replica of the entire movie…!!!

    Well maybe after the Queen…
