The amount of characters in the Toons alone could keep us going for quite a while. Let’s hope Mattell do not let us down. Speaking of let downs England vs USA is justbstarting in World Cup 2010.

Those overseas Lenticular card eyes are freaky! 😯

Question, any word on when Case G comes out here in the US? Also, these are case F you are talking about in this post, right.

    • BMW says:

We (unfortunately) are months behind this. The Cars Toons line is a total flop in at least this part of the US (not from my perspective, as we love these new Cars). However, everyone else seems to have abandoned them or the need was anticipated too high. EVERY retailer I go into has their pegs stocked with as far back as case B CT singles and case A CT megas. The fact that they are selling for as much as $5 and $9 each respectively doesn’t help. Where we have seen the most perceived demand (probably because cases were so rare) is in the 4-packs (despite their $25 price tag). I think the same is true with the Color Changers. For some reason, there are more pegs set aside in Target for Cars Toons singles and Color Changers than regular Mega Sized singles and Final Laps. Bummer…

I’ve been around the country and it’s the same story everywhere. This is what kinda turned me off of the Car Toons line…lack of new stuff. I get more excited about the new lenticulars and I’m not a lenty fan.

      • BMW says:

        Correction to my post:
In Case G its not the new Dr Mater Mask up.

        Its the regular Dr. Mater

Dr Mater Mask Up is in Case H, with Komodo etc.

  • Roswell says:

ito san has been sitting on the shelf on thier own for ages here,

  • Jinzo says:

Is Dexter With Green flag will be coming out as FL?

  • I-am-speed says:

Just found Ito San and Kabuto Wednesday at WM.

  • UKSeeker says:

Ito San’s been on the shelf (and plenty of him) in the UK (well atleast in my area) for well over a month

  • NascarFan says:

Kabutos have been here for awhile… but cars toons I guess are not hot items here.

  • Dolly says:

We have here in Austria the Dexter with Green Flag, Fred with Fallen Bumper and McQueen with Shovel already for like 2 weeks or more. And 2 days ago i went to a store in Germany (near me) and found the Toons. Of course the prices here aare €7,99 (aaround $9,65 usd). They had Komodo, Cho, Kabuto and Mater with Mask Up.

JUUUUHUUUUU…….. We are getting better…. I like this.

  • Carlos says:

Nice, but, what about the rest. Here’s all I remember of the Cars Toons #s. Tokyo Mater starts at #11.
    #11 Dragon McQueen
    #12 Kabuto
    #13 Ito San
    #14 Komodo
    #15 Big Fan
    #16 Yokoza
    #17 Kabuto Ninja
    #18 Tokyo Cho
    #19&20 Teki and Paki (Samurai/Ninja Pitty #2)
    #21 Tokyo Van/ Van San
#22&23 Lug and Nutty with oil cans
    #24 Tokyo Police/ Patokka
    #25 Sanban
#26 Otto? I think it is, but I’m not sure
    #27 Manji
    #28 The Goodbye Kar
    #29 Dr. Mater (Mask Up)
    #30 Drift Party Mater
    #31 Metallic Dragon McQueen
I forgot #26, but I’m sure I’ll find out later. If I had to guuess, based on the lists for other toons, the extended numbering might look something like this:
    #32 Matador McQueen
    #33 Mator w/ Oil Cans
    #34 Military Flatbed
    #35 Scientist Mater
#36 Car Luigi & Guido gave a new hubcap to. (With a hubcap, of couse.)
    #37&38 Scientist Pittys 1&2
    #39 Scared McQueen
#40 Rescue Squad Mater Crowd Car
    #41&42 Guitar and Bass Pittys
    #43&44 Studio Pittys
    #45 Promoter
    #46 Heavy Metal McQueen
    #47 Rescue Squad Reporter
    #48 Cho Variant
    #49 Otto Variant
Wow, so many, but it’s just a guess. Please don’t put this list anywhere else, it’s just a guess.
Like usual, I think Mias & Tias will be exclusive to a 4 Pack, as well as the pitty with 1 ton metal, referee pitty, and Matador pitty. Also, I agree with Met about the Geisha girls and red, yellow, and green cars in 4 packs with Mater or Kabuto. Also, if a Mater isn’t listed, I think it’ll be megasize.

    • Carlos says:

One last thing. Because of the drummer pitty’s big size, I think he’ll be a megasize/deluxe car.

    • Dolly says:

      Hi Carlos,

The following are already out (if i’m right):

      #11 Dragon McQueen
      #12 Kabuto
      #13 Ito San
      #14 Komodo
      #16 Yokoza
      #17 Kabuto Ninja
      #18 Tokyo Cho
      #29 Dr. Mater (Mask Up)
#31 Metallic Dragon McQueen (this one is with the Collector Guide, i think)

The list is getting smaller 😉

      • Carlos says:

Yes, you are right Dolly. I was also posting the rest or the list. I think the case in this post is F. I think G has Cho and the ninja, and H has Komodo and Dr Mater (Mask up). I could be wrong though.

        • Carlos says:

Oh, one last thing. The Metallic Dragon McQueen is from the 2010 collector guide.

        • Dolly says:

Hey Carlos, super that you know wich cases are those in. I think in the store i found them they are just mixed up because they had 1 x Burn McQueen and 1 x Yokosa, 1 x Cho, 1 x Komodo and 2 x Mater with Mask Up. No Ninja Kabuto tought. 🙂 But at least something new for us Austrian.

  • MiaSenorita says:

    Love Tokyo Mater stuff!!
