Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Red & Weep – Lenticular Red

Lenticular Red is here …

Red, never easy to find so get ’em while you can …

He’s pretty much the same, same weight – unlike a lot of others, there wasn’t much to cut without re-doing him – in fact, he’s actually shinier than my other Red though of course, that Red has been out and about since 2006 🙂

Next to 2006 Red (on right).

Sally is pretty much the same as the latest lenticular release but of course, this is first release of Wet Lightning McQueen as a lenticular.

Good eye placements. 🙂

Thanks “Nikko.”

I saw several of both new 3 packs at Target and Walmart stores around Louisville, KY and Indianapolis this weekend… I was surprised to see them as many Walmart stores still had 6 to 9 of the Cartrip/Cutlass lenticular 3 pack in stock.

I didn’t find Red but I did find lots of the Mia and Tia with trays this weekend in CO Springs, CO.

I think he does have some tar left on him. Look at his side, near the lightning bolt. It looks like dribbles of tar falling down his side.

I’ve found quite a few of these on the shelves…but not one of the girls with Trays. 🙁

I have two of these 3 packs to trade or sell. One package is damaged so good for openers. The other is collector grade mint. We need the following:

Chase Van with Stickers – with stickers!! (US Card only)

    Cars Toon:
    Kabuto
    Cho
    Ninja x2
    Van San
    Komodo

    Email slicepie@roadrunner.com if interested.

Still think wet LM should have the tar on him!…and one cactus under his eye!

    • carscrazydd says:

Yep, those would help make him a real Wet L.M. He did have several cactus pieces on him before Red started blasting him with water. Mattel could have used the real Cactus L.M. body and apply the Tar tampo along with the water spots tampo. Mattel must have decided this version was good enough, maybe cost of production limitations!

e basta con le lenticolari (STOP LENTICULARS) !! Fanno onco al maiale !!

        • carscrazydd says:

I don’t know about you Dunroamin, but I was commenting about Final Lap Wet McQueen missing the cactus and tar, as the Final Lap was first version released.

Most of the time when I comment about lenticulars it is because my son loves them and prefers them, and I will keep buying them for him as long as he does.

Oi, please plead your case to STOP LENTICULARS to Disney/Pixar and Mattel, and make your comments to them if you think it will help! You have my blessing, for what it’s worth.
