Yes, these are ALL lenticulars but note the apparent cost savings and most likely re-use of the same exact packaging with non-lenticular CARS as the box says NOTHING about “Look, My Eyes Change.” 🙂
Since they come 6 to a case, presumably, there are 2 in each case.

Found 3 new lenticular 3 packs today @ Target $12.09 ea –

I found them in a Toys R Us in Redwood City, CA $15.99 a pop 🙁
Of course I still bought them…but it hurt…
found the Ferrari 3 pack @ Wal-Mart in Springboro, oh today !! $9.99 !!

Thanks for the info. My kids had a 2 hour delay for school here in Pa. My seven year old co-collector and I went to Bon-ton, bed-head and all.(now you know I’m a diehard collector) 30% off and my $10 coupon brought it to only $7.99 per box. And we still got home in time to make the bus.
So I had to take my 5 yr old in his pajamas to The Bon Ton tonight after he read this (he can’t tie his shoes, but he can turn the computer on, open the internet and get to takefiveaday.com all by himself). Thank goodness they had them!!
(MET: Nice! We like to hook ’em young 🙂 … Plus, now you have free tech support even before he turns 6 🙂 ).

Found these at Elder-Beerman in Indiana.
Also found new mega-size Kensington at Macy’s in Indiana.
Boy, I wish I’d see something new like that at OUR Macy’s….the only thing they had when we were there last week were a handful of haulers.

So am I correct that there will be a few cars released as lenticulars that will not be released as normal cars?
(MET: In theory, every CAR released as a lenticular should be be already released as a non-lenticular but then again, it’s more like a really, really neat guideline and not a law … :-/ ).
Check your local papers today. Mine has a BonTon sales flyer that has a coupon for $10.00 off any purchase of $25.00 or more. You can only use it on Dec. 9th.
In my area Bon Ton is Carson Pirie Scott. They always have had new releases, way before our discount stores. I’ve been lucky there the last 2 years!
I thought that the rule was that a car had to be released as a regular car first before it could be released in lenticular form!!!!
Costanza officially breaks another Mattel rule.
I guess that makes it official: Mattel is NOT releasing Non-lenticular versions of the Cars before the Lenticular versions.
That was what I was thinking too.
All of the cars above except Costanzo have already been released as mainline singles…I picked up Antonio and Dexter yesterday at Target.
The new packaging looks great …..but would rather see the cars with regular eyes first …… now worries ….I know the are coming soon!

The Costanzo in that package looks like a regular version… am I seeing things? Or is it a trick of the camera shot? Chick Hicks and Fans seem normal too to me…
No, they are all lenticular cars in all three packages. That was a camera phone sorry for the angle and quality of the pic!
