i was at the toys r us by us today and at 3:00 they had 100 zhu zhu pets…the 1st 100 people in line got a ticket and got 1 zhu zhu…no choice on color just whatever they gave you. the manager there said that they had 150 hamsters cities for tomorrow and they open at 7:00 so people will probably be lining up at 6..he said they would be passing out tickets if it was needed…i’m in cleveland ohio..if that helps at all!
IS ANYBODY ABLE TO CONFIRM THE SUNDAY ZHU ZHU HAMSTER CITY DEAL, ANY PARTICULARS, TICKETS, LIMITS, TIME ETC?
FYI- TOYS R US IS HAVEING ZHU ZHU PETS STAURDAY AT 2PM!!!
This sale might make me go and get that GeoTrax set for my son for Xmas. Who can resist $20 off and all that fun.
My son loves it! I do recommend purchasing extra rail and road tracks. It’s a lot of fun. 🙂

wow TRU lowers the price on the cars toons and our stupid walmart raised them.
Lenticulars were 4.47 now 3.97, toons were 3.97 were 4.97 on Tuesday and today 5.57 it is really making me mad.
NO wonder why we have pegs that are full of nurse gto, orderly pitties, normal burnt mcqueen (bought all the soaked ones for take5er)and all the rescue cars. I mean there is seriously 10-15 nurse gto and about 11 total lenticulars in the entire store.
(MET: goodnews – as soon as the TRU sale goes live Sunday – PRICE MATCH kicks in at Target & WM).

The lenticulars are cheap.
And our walmart toy guy said they will NOT go on sale only the megas, seems odd so I will just wait and see.

It was $99 on Toysrus.com when it was up there before.
It was $85 the minute it went live, then 4 hours later ToysRus put it on sale for $99. =)
So maybe they will drop it back to regular price.
Sad thing is I was told that they are raising the price to $129 for the giant city set. It does include the Funhouse, Car w/Garage, Adventure Ball, Wheel, Sleep Dome, Mr. Squiggles hamster and the exclusive Patches hamster but that price is really steep. Actually the prices went up a few dollars on all the open stock accessories and playsets.
Do you think the price increase is because TRU had to pay more to the manufacturer in order to get the Zhu merch in their stores?
(MET: Something that large does cost much more to air ship – girth not weight … plus, you have to pad the shipping costs :-/ ).

One note on the Zhu Zhu Pets at TRU:
Our nearest stores have been limiting them to 1 per person!
ours too .. get this.. we were there on the day after thanksgiving and we werent in the first 100 apparently .. and it was supposed to be 1 per household which im sure they didnt check.. but my sisters friend works there and told her that they still had 55 of them at noon because half of the people that got tickets werent even there for them..
A real brain surgeon handing out the tickets on Black Friday, huh?
Apparently no one thought to ASK people if they needed a ticket for a Zhu Zhu pet.

Seems target pulled the hamsters from the stores. Probably don’t need the headache for a few $’s, 😛
not sure that is accurate as i was not there but my target got them today
TRU got to Zhu Zhu pets first , so that is probable why they get more stock in that Target or Walmart. This is a very small start up company that is producing theses toys.

No Targets have not pulled them, they are just reallocating them so that not one store gets more than others. So that all stores receive same amounts.
