Disney Pixar CARS: More CARS To Buy at the Disney Store + Coupon

Of course, the Light Up-Glow in the Dark Tuners are not yet available online, they will probably be by next week if you don’t live near a Disney Store …

Wingo-DJ

However the MINI Disneyland Playmat (with exclusive Mickey McQueen & Minnie Sally) is now available online.

You can get an old fashioned FILM camera where you can get your picture to McQueen and the gang from Radiator Springs.

Also a McQueen or Mater ornament

orbamnetPeople have asked about the 20-CAR set … It is a set of the DISNEY STORE 1:43 CARS and not the Mattel 1:55 CARS. There’s not much of a discount as the Disney Store CARS sell for around $5.50 each or $5 on sale, this box set of 20 saves you time and is essentially the sale price of each 20 CAR – sells for $99.50.

car setThis set does NOT include the new light-up tuners or the new Piston Cup Racers.

And the US Dinoco Helicopter Carrying Case & Playset is different than the UK one as the US one is sized for the 1:43 CARS (see above set) so it holds 12 CARS and since the Mattel 1:55 CARS are smaller than the Disney Store 1:43 CARS, you will definitely be able to hold 12 CARS though some with extra headroom … and clearly the back space can probably only hold a Chuki or Guido …

Dinoco

If your kid is this size, you can get a sense of scale 🙂

Though from the looks of it – a little too large to be canon for the Mattel line …

Or a giant Piston Cup that breaks apart in 4 cups and a cereal bowl?

And these are cool but where the CARS ones? Who doesn’t want a Mater one even if it costs you .4 miles per gallon? 🙂 Or the ultimate irony of an antenna ball of Brian Parks, the antenna ball sales truck?

Happy shopping!

You can also get another 20% off the FALL SALE ITEMS with coupon code – FALLFUN
(some CARS items).

  • Steve AKA: Poppa says:

The Disney Store on line website is now selling the two packs of these for $14.50 each.

  • SweetBug says:

Just wanted to call attention to the fact that Disneyland sells two versions of the Mickey McQueen and Minnie Sally sets. There are two play-mats one is the Magic Kingdom, the other is a play-mat of Radiator Springs. The Radiator Springs play-mat is completely different than the mat sold with Brand-New Mater in the Story Tellers play-set.

(MET: The Radiator Springs playmat is a Storytellers one a metal 1:55 Brand New Mater available at Target only – the Disney playmat with MINI McQueen & MINI Sally as Mickey & Minnie were only available at the theme parks but now available online).

    • SweetBug says:

I just wanted to clarify- there are three different play-mats – one is from the Story Tellers – Brand-New Mater set available at Target. And there are two completely different mats (previously sold only at Disneyland) one with the Magic Kingdom – i.e. looks just like a map of the park. The second mat is of Radiator Springs with the Stanley Statue in the center and all the other locations (V8 Cafe, Doc’s Shop, Mater’s Salvage Yard) in a circle around the statue. Last time I was at Disneyland, of all the stores that sell the Mini Adventure Mickey McQueen and Minnie Sally sets there was only one Stanley Mat available.

(MET: Did that playmat come with either Sheriff or Cruisin Mcqueen?)

Man, I wish we had a Disney Store near here. I will just have to wait for a sale to stock up on the cars and tuners and racers! Its not like I have tons of extra cash burning holes in my pocket at this rate anyway….

  • Flarf says:

They sold the Cars antenna toppers a while ago – I have Guido & Mater. The best stuff at the Disney Store is in the impulse buy bins by the registers. (Never on sale, mind you…)

  • Matt says:

I am reminded of the apparent scale issues when looking at the 20 piece box set. Love how Tractor is absolutely HUGE, and Red actually looks smaller than Mater. Heli looks pretty tiny as well.

    • iamspeed says:

If the Disney Store would take on a properly-scaled Dinoco Helicopter, and NOT as a storage case, they’d have a monster seller just like Frank! When we were there over the weekend, they said the DS Frank is still a great seller.

  • iamspeed says:

Fun trip to the Disney Store!

The Light Up Tuners sets are pretty cool…..Wingo and Snot Rod probably share for the brightest lighting.

**A word of caution: In picking out 3 pairs(6 boxes)of the sets, we did run into 1 DJ that didn’t light up.

Check the lights on them before you buy, and check the cases themselves, as some had damaged in the clear plastic, including cracks/breakage.

  • Hostile Takeover Banker says:

that 20 pack is very nice.

  • Nicole H says:

Not at the Disney Store but….Oct 11th is suppose to be the day the Hallmark Ornaments come out too.

  • Micky says:

I’ve seen the helicopter and 20 car set at the Disney Store. The helicopter is huge and the 20 car set is very plain. Just two rows of cars. No fancy packaging.
